Lopez Tax Service, Inc. is an award winning training company which has been locally owned and operated for over 34 years. This minority owned business has been recognized in the Inc 5005000 as one of the fastest growing businesses for 2008.

Lopez Tax Service, Inc. become a California Tax Education Council Registered Vendor in 1999 to teach the 60 hour qualifying course and the 20 hour continuing education courses for individuals who are not Enrolled Agents or Certified Public Accountants and wish to prepare tax returns for a fee. Lopez Tax Service, Inc. is a «training company». We are constantly training not just their own employees but others in the community. Lopez Tax Service, Inc. is also an IRS Sponsor for EA’s to receive their continuing education. Lopez Tax Service, Inc. is a Notary vendor approved by the Secretary of State Notary vendors to teach the required 6 hour ethics course for new notaries and the 3 hour ethics course for renewing notaries.

Mr. Lopez is CEO and Founder of Lopez Tax Service, Inc. Mr. Lopez has been in the tax and accounting business since October of 1982.

The mission of Lopez Tax Service is to provide high quality tax preparation to the Spanish speaking community, one interview at a time.

Mr. Lopez holds a BA degree from Pacific Union College and a Master’s Degree from UCLA Anderson School of Management. Mr. Lopez passed the IRS Special Enrollment Exam in 1988 and is enrolled to represent taxpayers at all administrative levels of the IRS.

Mr. Lopez is a practitioner partner with the IRS National Stakeholder Liaison office in Washington, D.C. Mr. Lopez is also a featured speaker for Spanish language continuing education seminars at the IRS National Tax Forums held 6 times each year throughout the U.S.
