Newly renovated, First & Oak is Located inside of the charming Mirabelle Inn. Executive Chef Steven Snook offers an array of complex small plates emphasizing flavor and finesse. The menu is is California eclectic, utilizing French technique and inspiration from our world travels. Our seasonal menu is designed so you can create your own personalized tasting menu. We want you to be able to explore our chef’s menu while not be restricted to an appetizer and entrée format. Our small plates concept allows you the opportunity and freedom to taste multiple courses. We want to make dinner exciting and full of transcending flavors. Our emphasis is on Local & Sustainable.

Established in 1993.
First & Oak established December 2015. Executive Chef Steven Snook and Sommelier Jonathan Rosenson team up to create a restaurant dedicated to flavor and quality less any ego.

Jonathan R.
Business Owner
Jonathan, a level 2 sommelier, currently oversees First and Oak, The Sky Room in Long Beach, and Coquelicot Estate Vineyards. With over 10 years of experience in the restaurant industry Jonathan is a seasoned pro at creating a culinary experience. Creating elaborate menus, exquisite tastings, and special events are his forte. Jonathan treats his guests just like they were in his own dining room at home. He looks to continue his wine educations and enjoy every moment of honing in on his craft. Cheers to a magical evening!
