At Shuler Group We Assist Sales and Marketing in reaching out to high volume users to maximize profits and sales. We also work with sales personnel in the field, calling on key accounts, regionally or nationally. We introduce senior management to KOL («Key Opinion Leaders») contacts, at local and national meetings, conference calls and through the establishment of an Advisory Panel. We establish and manage National Advisory Boards with KOL’s who have the highest credibility among their peers. This will include setting up «speaker» programs, podium presence at local and national conventions and meetings, and the publishing of «white» papers and articles within ophthalmic journals to create broader product exposure. This may include allowing Advisory Board members to have early exposure to products and services developed by the company.

Business Owner
Mr. Shuler has over 30 years of experience in the ophthalmic industry, working extensively in Optometry and Ophthalmology. He also has extensive product knowledge in the areas of refractive surgery, ophthalmic, contact and intraocular lenses, and ophthalmic pharmaceutical products. Mr. Shuler served as V.P. Strategic Accounts for Bausch and Lomb Surgical, and initiated the first optometric advisory at B&L Surgical. He was also Global Director of Strategic Accounts with Abbott Medical Optics, where he managed Optical Express and worked closely with the U.S. and International sales forces. In addition, he was part of the original management team that launched the WaveLight laser for refractive surgery, was Director of Sales at Visx Inc, and served as Vice President of Sales at Syntex Ophthalmics, where he was part of the team that brought the first FDA approved gas permeable contact lens in the U.S. Mr. Shuler holds a B.A. in Business Administration from the University of Hawaii.
