The place itself wasn’t bad. Cheap drinks. Stick to beer. But don’t get food. And watch out for the townies on the dance floor, they’re terrifying.

Perfect shore bar/​restaurant! We always enjoy sitting outside on the deck and recently went with 2 other couples! The waitress was young and unexperienced as a cocktail waitress but the food came out perfectly! Kudos to the kitchen because she returned to the table a couple times to confirm certain dishes (I’d rather her ask questions then the food coming out wrong). Best part is the portions are a great size for the value and the entires are always flavorful!
I observed the inside to have a divider from the bar crowd which would be perfect for families, young and old!
After dinner we made our way to the outside bar but observed a live band inside «Doghouse Roses». Great band! Perfect way to end the night! only thing I’d change about inside was the bartenders! My husband was standing at the die center of a half empty bar consistently ordering us rounds, which were taking forever… His not someone who complains until after the fact!
The worst part about a bartender that takes forever, is ones that don’t care! We only ordered beers and the dude just didn’t care to make his way over to our end of the bar!
The great part about being at the shore is you don’t have to plan anything and you’ll always have a good time! Carolina’s is a great Somers point bar with cheap drinks and great food!
Tip to the inside male bartender that night– if you want customers to return make sure everyone at your bar has drinks and are happy!

Ate here on several occasions and really enjoyed it. Read some of the prior reviews complaining about the noise and atmosphere but never had any issues.
The service was exceptional and the food came out fast. The quality of the food was good and the portions were good a size.

I normally don’t write reviews but this place needed one. What a dump… we got seated outside and our view was of a black swamp with trash in it. We were just sitting waiting for someone to greet us but no one ever did. Two tables were seated after us and they were greeted while we just sat there waiting. I guess my family and I were just dressed to nice for this dump… so we left. Best part of this experience is we ended up eating at Caffè Luciano Lamberti and the place was awesome!

My husband and I went to Caroline’s last night– a Friday.
First of all, the place is extremely loud, and the dining area is small and way in the back. We waited a while to be seated and once we were, we were seated at a dirty table with food on it… not the best start to our meal. The bar area looks fun if that’s what you’re going for. Mid 30s+ crowd.
I had the ahi tuna sandwich but didn’t eat the bread because it was hard and stale. The actual tuna was pretty good, and the fries were good as well. My husband ordered the shrimp linguini and it tasted like someone dumped a bottle of Lemon Joy in it, haha. The meal did come with soup for him, and he liked the clam chowder. We were both still hungry so we ordered the peanut butter dessert which was definitely the best part.
Our waitress was friendly but we had to ask multiple times for simple things, like a refill on water or some ketchup. The place wasn’t busy.
I wouldn’t come back by choice.

Edible… At best. Quite honestly… We couldn’t find a place to eat because there was at least an hour wait at ALL the other ones that were surrounding it. We were so excited that we could finally get a table for our five kids. Big mistake. We should have run in the other direction when we couldn’t even talk on the entrance ramp… The music was so LOUD. U had to scream!!!
We were ushered into the dining room, where we were the only group in there. Another warning sign… The dining room was filthy. There were holes from Water damage. I would rather use a portable potty than go in the bathroom again. Plaster was falling in areas from the ceiling and there was a thick layer of dust above where the pizza was being made… More on the pizza later.
The food came and there was freezer burn on my daughters chicken tenders. The meatballs were described by my four year old as poo… Without a doubt frozen. I am a big fan of funky cheese but the blue cheese on the buffalo chicken pizza had just been around too long. I actually spit it out. Fries… Which I thought couldn’t be screwed up… Were grosse. They tasted like old fry oil.
Our waitress was an absolute delight. Honestly, she was the only bright point in the whole joint. As for the other waitresses, the hostess looked like a street walker and the servers were wearing next to nothing.
I gave this place a one star but only because I haven’t gotten food poisoning… Yet…
If you are looking for a place to throw it down and get hammered, you walked into the right spot. Just make sure u bring ear plufs. DO NOT EAT HERE. This place makes scuzzy bar food look amazing.

Stopped on the way home from the beach. Good burger, cold drinks, friendly attentive waitress Danielle. Will come back again!

What to say… The food is great! I tried the scallops with veggies and fries and it was very tasty and delicious. This was really surprising since it’s basically a college bar kind of place. It’s a local place where you will see people having a few beers after work or even a group who’ve been there drinking all day. I didn’t see a lot of people ordering food which made me worried that the food wouldn’t match the prices on the menu. That being said, yes it’s a bit price for the ambience and the wait staff is slow (we were one of 4 tables eating and we waited quite a while for the waiter). Oh and don’t order the ice tea… It taste like over water down power tea.

Excellent service and great food! And I love the atmosphere! A great place to meet with friends! I will definitely come back again!

Stopped in with my girlfriend and another couple. I liked the setup, and the drinks were cheap. Large layout with room to hang out outside.
Would return.
