Established in 1982.

Since 1982, Somerset Beach Campground has sought to glorify God through Christian camping. We serve as an extended ministry of the local church, seeking to bring persons to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and helping them to grow in Him. Whether you join us for a week, weekend, or day, it is our desire that you leave SBC refreshed and renewed. .. all for God’s glory.

Somerset Beach Campground is more than just a Michigan summer camp. During the summer, we host a full summer of fun-​filled, life-​changing experiences for youth and adults. During the non-​summer months, SBC offers the same experiences through retreats, rentals, outdoor education, and other events. These programs offer ample opportunity to get away to the peaceful surroundings of one one of the best Christian camps in Michigan.

Somerset Beach Campground is affiliated with the Southern Michigan Conference of the Free Methodist Church, but is completely open to the public!

Our Executive Director, Dave Luke, has been overseeing the camp since 1988.
