Went there Saturday night with my girlfriend for drinks. The band was great, drinks are very fairly priced, & generous. NOT LIGHT! Why 3 stars & not 5? It was musty & hot. The staff said the air conditioning was on, as they wiped the sweat from their brow. We will definitely go back, but we’ll call in advance, to mace sure the air conditioning is on.

I visited Soho to see a band. I had a very disappointing experience. I ordered a diet coke, paid $ 3 for it and it was not a coke or Pepsi product. It tasted foul. As I tried to choke it down I became fearful for my health and returned it for a seltzer.
I spent a lot of time waiting for my diet coke and while I did so I couldn’t help smelling the bar. I have worked at a few bars and know the smell of a dirty bar. The smell was so strong that I knew that there were infrequently cleaned crevices. My friend ordered chicken fingers which came with french fries, they were edible. My other friend ordered calamari and they were like little pieces of rubber, atrocious. I headed back to wait at the foul smelling bar to purchase a bottle of water.
The lounge seemed understaffed, with a large area with tables which could have benefited from wait service.
While the band played the house speakers were playing staticky music.
As a venue it was a 3, as a lounge it was a 4 as a restaurant it was a 2 and as a bar it was a 2. I don’t intend to return.

The reason people think Jersey is a pile of shit is shown in previous comments. You idiots have the most negative attitude in the country and only speak if it’s to drag other people down. I ate here tonight and the food is fine. The salad is romain lettuce not iceberg you assholes. It’s typical of anywhere. And unless you’re a prick and order a NY strip it’s about 10 bucks to eat here. All these other Gordon Ramsey wanna bes should be disregarded. It’s typical of a hotel restaurant: locals awkwardly singing karaōke and getting wasted and mediocre food the likes of an Applebee’s.

I received a living social deal for this place and was so excited because we also decided to stay over at the La Quinta Hotel. The lounge was empty and the DJ was a joke. The food was not worth it even with the living social deal. How can you serve a NY Strip Steak with no sides, not even a green bean and then charge $ 21 for it! Seriously-​Not! The layout is really nice and the atmosphere could probably be great, if the right promoter/​DJs/​and wait staff were all redone!

I usually don’t write reviews, but intentionally went out of my way and had to write one for SOHO Lounge to express my dissatisfaction. I ordered the New York Strip Steak. It cost over $ 20+, low to average price, but after the waiter raved about it, I thought I would try it. It came out an hour late, and there might have been one other customer, so it wasn’t busy. Apparently they served my meal to one of the guests in the hotel, so had to start from scratch. It came with a salad (very little), some iceberg lettuce and tomatoe, big deal. I think they attempted to sauté onions and peppers. No side dishes were included, like a potatoe, etc. For taking such a long time to cook, I figured it would at least be hot, it wasn’t. They forgot to bring out the butter sauce that came with the steak and honestly the steak wasn’t that good. Totally disappointed, and it’s a shame because the server tried to be nice but they just didn’t provide a good service. If they feel I’m being unfair, I would be more than happy to discuss.
