Specialties

We are dedicated to promoting the teachings and benefits of martial arts. We offer classes in Kixboxing, Capeoira, Mixed Martial Arts, Brazilian Jiu-​Jitsu, and Wrestling. We offer daily kids classes as well as class for adult beginners.

With over eighteen years of experience on the mats, we have what it takes to help one to further one’s development of self-​esteem, discipline, and confidence. We also have a proven record of success and have helped to elevate many top athlete’s to elite levels of competition.

History

Established in 2013.

Carlos Neto is a 2nd Degree Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-​Jitsu. He began training 19 years ago in Brazil. His students have enjoyed successes including fighting in the UFC, winning numerous IBJJF Championships, and twice winning an invitation to compete in ADCC Championship in Abu Dhabi. He is committed to building a welcoming training environment that fosters the ideals of the martial arts and challenges students at all levels.

Professor Anderson Silverio is a third degree black belt and has been training jiu-​jitsu for 23 years. His students have participate and won renowned competitions including Brazilian State, National, and World Championships. When he is not coaching he is busy competing and has a long list of of titles including European Champion, Brazilian Champion, Paulista Champion, Carioca Champion, and taking second place in the World Master’s Division Championship. Most recently, Anderson has been coaching in the corner of UFC veteran Jacare Souza.

Our son has been attending for a few months now. He really likes it. From the first day, everyone was very nice and welcoming. We have met some great people there. No cliques at this gym. It is very inclusive and everyone is like family.
Carlos Neto and Meredith his wife are very kind/​sweet people. Now, when we joined Anderson; the kids teacher, was out of state I believe. The day he returned was the first time my son met him. He was instantly drawn to him!!! Anderson has such great personality and really works great with the children. They all love him! He has this unbelievable aura around the kids and they all gravitate to him. Yet, they all show the utmost respect towards him.
There is another guy who teaches the kids when Anderson is away at competitions. I didn’t catch his name, however he is great also. Very calm and good with the children. My son gets so excited when he teaches.
Overall, we are happy. The children at this place are all great, well-​mannered and willing to help those who are still learning. It’s interesting as no child is left out or feels like they don’t belong. We are glad we came and hope we can continue to grow with them.
Also, the entrance is towards the back of the building on the ground floor. Lots of parking, but was a bit hard to find the first day.

My home away from home! I’ve been training at CNBJJ for over two years and I couldn’t be happier with my team and my professors, Carlos Neto and Anderson Silverio. We’ve also revelry teamed up with Red Line Fight Sports, forming one of the biggest and most competitive BJJ teams in Boston.
CNBJJ is a perfect balance for a BJJ school — challenging training for all levels, zero egos, welcoming environment and fun! I highly recommend CNBJJ for any new students looking to get into Jiu Jitsu or any students whose looking for a new place to train.

CNBJJ is a fantastic school with incredible teachers, a friendly environment, and talented students. I started doing BJJ 10+ years ago and have trained under a handful of teachers in the Boston area but Carlos and Anderson’s instruction is in a class of its own. The level of detail and nuance they are able to describe for every position and move is unparalleled.
Perhaps just as important as their teaching ability is their focus on creating a positive environment in which to learn. The school has a community/​social vibe to it that make it a fun place to be.
The gym has the right mix of beginners and experienced students that make it an ideal place for anyone to train. If you are just starting off, there is no reason to feel intimidated as there are plenty of other beginners. On the other hand, if you are experienced and looking to train with talented students who have diverse styles, there are plenty of blue, purple, and brown belts to work with and learn from.

CNBJJ is by far the best facility I have trained at. The owners are very friendly and the instructors are as well. It’s a family environment, and very welcoming. They offer a wide variety of class times and great mix of classes as well. Lucas Cruz, Anderson Silverio and Carlos Neto are the real deal if you want a superb environment for learning/​training BJJ a and Muay Thai. I have been on board for a few months and learn more each class. I look forward to great training in the year of 2015 .I have also made some new friends too! CNBJJ is the only place I’ll be training BJJ and Muay Thai.

Great gym. The owners are very friendly, and the coaching is good. Everyone at the school is open and easy to work with, with a bunch of skilled folks. The facility is big, and and the mats are nice. The best gym I’ve been to in the Boston area for both competition oriented BJJ athletes as well as casual students.

I was in the Boston area for work and wanted to try out as many academies as I could. Out of the three academies I went to, this was hands down my favorite! Everyone here was super friendly and inviting, and the instructor showed practical techniques. I actually ended up coming back here twice during my stay in Boston.
The next time I’m in the area for work I’ll definitely be stopping by again! Thanks to everyone at the academy for making it such a great experience!!!

Hands down best BJJ in New England coached by professor Neto. They also have great muay thai and wrestling classes. The teammates are very skilled and some of the best in the area. The students are also very welcoming and willing and eager to teach fellow students their craft and help you to succeed in your own personal goals. You join this team, you’re becoming part of a family of great fighters and people. Professor Neto keeps the gym immaculately clean at all times. Price is also very low. Highly reccomend! Oss
