*** OCTOBER2015UPDATE *** Wow, this store closed, and a «Dollar Tree»(a real dollar store) is moving in. Pretty amazing. Sure is taking a while to open, though. =============================================== This is not a «dollar store» like we had in the past, its just another retail store/“convenience” store and it even looks like the big companies that sell the stuff here are forcing us to pay MORE, maybe out of anger or revenge, because this is definitely not a place where you automatically save money like we used to in the 90’s and early half of the 00 decade. The cycle of independence+low prices – Big Corporate Takeover and competition elimination – Corporate Price Gouging has completed, and the best thing would be for these stores to close and a totally new, unconnected business to start the cycle over again. This place is a ripoff and a deception(not to mention a lot of the goods here probably are unhealthy for you — if saving money is the only reason to buy these mass market products, then forget it.). :( When I visit this store I just don’t get any bargains, and the elderly man who is at the retail desk is nice but he is frustratingly slow and quirky. I normally would not complain about service workers but this person is frustrating. When I ever work at retail stores the most important thing to do is to master every movement possible over a period of 3 – 6 months so that you are as fast as humanly possible for checking out the customers.

Ok, i’m all for forgiving bad service in the name of a good deal, but this place is ridiculous. the cashier literally refused to scan a coupon because he disagreed with the definition of «liquid detergent» –I wouldn’t have protested if it didn’t work, but he wouldn’t even look at it in the first place. then he started to argue with me when I said that I didn’t want the item anymore – either that or his English is so bad he doesn’t understand the meaning of «no.» That, and their prices on household/food items are typically more expensive than or the same as Shaws sale prices, so what’s the point?

According to the social media corporate office in California, I am unable to review my experience and how I, as a customer, perceived this location. As such, they have lost business from me and my friends and family.

More like Family Three Dollars Sixty-Five Cents. Since when did you become a lower quality CVS? Yeah, I went there. Sell stuff for a buck. Embrace your heritage.

Useful for some things — but generally not much to find — lots of junk food, some toiletries, perhaps once in a while a few clothing items. Not very good with sink or kitchen items. Still useful in the long run.

This dollar store is pretty good. The people who work here are borderline rude, including management. But who cares about them, i just want a whole lotta cheap stuff! I got most of my Halloween costume accessories here for under $ 10. The only thing they are lacking is in the beauty/cosmetics dept., but who wants to by that stuff at the dollar store anyway?

Certainly some pretty good deals to be had, but their prices still didn’t beat good ‘ol Market Basket(at least w/the same stuff @ each location), but there was a run on windshield washer during the storm the other day &FD had it.(it cost a buck more here) Interesting conversations overheard(how couldn’t you) w/the employees in the store. Very loud(albeit amusing), I was surprised & thought most people would be very offended by the topics. In summary, good deals & entertainment, but I’m not sure I’ll go back.
