It was an emergency visit. My first and only time. He opened my mouth and began to work, I screamed and he told me to suck it would up, it be very quick. I didn’t even know what was wrong with my tooth and it was too painful to continue in a natural condition. I asked if he wanted to take an xray to see what was wrong and he said he didn’t need to. I demanded that he take one because I was in alot of pain, so it must be something beyond the surface. He told me I wasn’t the doctor and to let him do his job. He was yelling at this point. I yelled back, «then please shoot me with something, it’s too painful!» He yelled, «We don’t shoot anyone here! We inject them!» And then he pushed me down into the seat. He told me that the bonding came off of one of my teeth and he would rebond it to the teeth on either side of it, so it would be more secure. I asked how I would be able to floss if I couldn’t get between each tooth and he simply said to just rinse my mouth really well. I was crying as he worked on my tooth, but because I had no insurance and he was really the only person willing to do anything for such little money, I sat through one of the most scariest moments of my life. This place is stuck in the 50’s with Dr. Galitis’ WWII commemoratives, velvet couches and dark brown walls. All of the machines are from Germany and look like they were purchased shortly after the war. When he went to get my xray I got up to get my phone and take pictures of all of it, but he came too soon and very aggressively put his hand on my shoulders and forced me back into the chair. I can’t believe this person is still practicing.

I have a fear of dentists and was worried about picking a random name off of a web page. The waiting room and exam area looked like it was straight out of a Mad Men set… at first I thought that was cool but when I realized that it was vintage because nothing had been updated since the 50’s I became worried. Even his instruments and teeth charts were straight out of the mid-century era. The Dr. was friendly and nice but the exam lasted 15 min without any flossing or in-depth treatment. He also told me I didn’t have any cavities and my mouth was perfect which now that I’ve seen a REAL dentist I’ve been told I have multiple cavities and gum disease! Skip to my next visit when my filling popped out and needed an emergency appointment. It was hard to get a time with him right away and I had to negotiate with the secretary for an appt at a time after the office closed. The Dr. refused to do white fillings when I asked. He also claims that I only have silver fillings(which is not true). He filled my tooth but left it rough and jaggedy. I have already switched dentists and will never return to him! I believe he was probably a good dentist in his hey-day… but, not so much anymore.

I had a HORRIBLE experience here. I had to ask the doctor to wash his hands before touching my mouth and instruments. Not ok! I didn’t file a complaint but I feel it fair to warn fellow Unilocalers! STAYAWAY!!!
