Irene sold our house in Somerville in 2014. She was the consummate professional from start to finish. She advised us on what improvements we needed to make to the house before listing; she recommended an asking price; she listed and showed the house in such a way as to create maximum interest; she protected the house during showings by requiring all potential buyers be accompanied during the showings; and she got us a selling price that was substantially more than the asking price. She has a thorough knowledge of the area and the market. If you are selling your property, Irene Bremis is the realtor for you.

We had a somewhat difficult situation — my Mother’s home had fallen into disrepair and we needed to sell it quickly and for as much as possible to pay for her living expenses — with the added complication of establishing conservatorship for her estate and applying for permission to sell. Irene was able to recommend contacts who helped us navigate our way through the courts and preparing the home for sale. Irene knew the East Somerville market well enough to be able to set an asking price higher than other realtors we spoke with, and we sold the house as-​is for higher than the asking price. Her expertise and patience with a first time seller in a complex situation were invaluable, and I highly recommend her.

My husband and I had the good fortune to work with Irene Bremis and Bremis Realty during the recent sale of our family home. We interviewed three different Real estate agents before going with Bremis Realty. Irene is a very knowledgeable and excellent seller’s agent!
Her knowledge of the city of Somerville is unmatched. From the get go Irene guided us and supported us through the pricing of our home, numerous open houses and the eventual negotiating for the purchase price. Irene is a dedicated professional. She was accessible throughout the process and answered all the questions we had. She worked tirelessly for us until our home was sold, she even attended the closing because of her desire to see it through to the end. I recommend Irene Bremis wholeheartedly! I recently sold my 2-​bedroom condo in Winter Hill. Irene was professional from the moment we met her. She had a well-​designed plan for how to get our condo sold and it worked! She gave us ideas on what we needed to do to get our apartment ready and was able to recommend people to help us get it together quickly. It was on the market less than 2 weeks when we had an offer! Throughout the process Irene and Natalie respond quickly when you need them and are constantly professional. After the p&s was signed the buyer had some trouble securing finances. Irene was able to work between the lawyers and the buyers agent to make this deal happen. Irene thought outside the box and gave all parties the advice needed. I am 100% sure that without Irene we would not have closed!
