Went there for the first time today! Amazing food, tea and fraps and there are very friendly people who work there

Four stars not five because I understand that a Four star rating strangely helps out a small business better than five in the Unilocal game. Great turkey chili! And a good solid espresso shot for dinner tonight! Live music starting in 15 minutes! Peter is an authentic small business owner you want to support!

Delicious and cozy! Friendly staff and cute vibe. Got their carrot cake, cappuccino and tea and all were so good! The carrot cake was a stand out. Frosting is creamy and cheesy without being overwhelmingly sweet. In the carrot cake there’s big chunks of carrots and raisin that you can taste. Will def be back.

Cozy and super laid-back café close to the Somerville train station. They have live music five nights a week, including an open-mic night on Thursdays. I stumbled into this place the other day while trying to escape the rain and discovered a band of locals playing bluegrass inside. I just had tea, so I can’t say much about the coffee or food. They serve Numi tea, though, which is great in my book.

We went to dukes farms and Unilocaled the best coffee shop in town and Unilocal do not disappointed us delicious cappuccino and pistachio muffin to die for. I will definitely go back to this café … Good music too

I have passed this place for years without going inside, my BIG mistake. I finally went in last week on a Wednesday night and I am super glad I did because from now on when I want to indulge myself into some tea and a place with a cozy atmosphere, I have found the one. For years I have walked past this place almost always with my face pressed against the glass wanting to join the party that they were throwing. If you love a place with a happy, creative, and fun essence to it I recommend going there. Music lovers unite, and unite here because this place will be a comfortable location to enjoy some great live music. If ambiance alone doesn’t catch your eye, try their food because it will definitely satisfy your cravings for something good! They have everything you can think of including smoothies, coffee and desserts. Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts don’t compare to what you can receive at this place. Instead of going to Starbucks one of these days, definitely try Dragonfly; you will not regret it but it might make you a more peaceful person!

I’m embarrassed that this great little place has been here for about 3 years and I only went today for the first time. And I will be back. For a variety of reasons I no longer go to Starbucks, and have been looking for a good independent place with great coffee. Found it at Dragonfly. Great, smooth espresso and the turkey chili is amazing. The menu looks good and the owner and employees are incredibly friendly.

PROs: Coffee is good, ambiance is nice(like a living room) and live music five days/week, staff is nice. CONs: Limited breakfast menu and no non-porcine meat options. If I could, 3 ½ stars.

Had a caffeine headache and had to get a red eye stat. Coffee was very flavorful and rich. I only got the coffee so I could comment on the food. The dessert looked okay. I guess because it was wrapped up and didn’t look fresh, I had no interest in buying anything else. But coffee was good.

I commute to work in Central NJ(Somerset/SouthBoundBrook) once a week and its a must to stop by this place every week and try out different type of coffee’s. I have some coworkers hooked already.

This review is purely for their coffee. I get the large iced coffee here regularly for several reasons. It is the cheapest iced coffee you will find in the area at $ 2.14. They provide a generous amount and the coffee is not watered down. They have several options as sweeteners including truvia which is what I use so I come here particularly for that(as crazy as it sounds). The atmosphere is adorable and unique. The reason I don’t give it 5 stars is because they are cash only. In this day and age I think stores need to be more open to accepting credit cards although I understand that’s how they keep their prices down.

Way better coffee and teas than your chain coffee shops down the road, and the speed of service is so much better. The concept of this place is really cute too and adds to a feeling of a true sense of community in Somerville with a space for local business cards and advertisements, some jewelry and artwork hanging around the walls. The mismatched furniture and music that plays occasionally add to a feeling of homeliness and adds a lot of character. Note: no credit cards

Almost always has great entertainment on the weekends. The coffee and food is sub-par but the entertainment is why most people I know, including myself, have gone here. Some staff have been somewhat rude but they usually don’t last long. I was once offered to buy drugs this past Fall, while watching a friend perform at Dragonfly, and I haven’t returned since.

I asked for a white hot chocolate in hopes that they had it but they didn’t have it on the menu. However she quickly went out and put it together. The best white hot chocolate I have ever had and served with a smile! Ps. Coolest bathroom I’ve seen! Hahaha

Great café for light food, treats, coffee, and great local music. Fantastic and comfortable atmosphere and tremendously friendly staff. This is what a coffee shop should be! Also, very musician friendly with open mics and local acts booked in regularly

The Dragonfly is the quintessential café that every small town needs. It’s location is prime right on Main Street and it is supremely welcoming with its open mic nights and friendly staff. The coffee is fresh, there’s live music, and good times to be had. So what are you waiting for?

This quiet café is a spot where one can really take off a load and just rift into a bliss of relaxation and let the soundtracks or live music take you away as you sip your personal beverage of choice. The environment of the café feels like a little oasis of assorted coaches and chairs with makeshift dragonflies in every corner of the shop. I guess if feels like I was in a tiny pond of lake without the pesky bugs feasting on my body. Beside the environment, the owner of the shop was very sweet to point of tooth decay, because this woman went out of her way to just tell me what song was playing in the soundtrack and told me what album and artist to get it from, that is what I called service. The carrot cake and cappuccino I ordered were delicious. The cappuccino just hit the spot for me with every bite I took from there homemade carrot cake, where one could actually see the carrot pieces. Honestly, what sold me to this place was the setting and how the it brought a feeling of tranquility and solitude in my mind, from the chaotic week I had.

Stopped by this café for some tea and sweets. I was so excited that they offered Numi teas, an organic, fair-trade biodegradable brand, my personal favorite! They have a large menu with lots of sandwiches, soups, and salads to choose from. This place has lots of seating. It was a bit too cluttered for my liking, but it has lots of character. I liked the indie cds available for sale. This is a cash-only place so bring some bills when you go here or hit up their atm. Wouldn’t mind returning in the future!
