Had to knock down a star for the cheesy fries that were made with old fries. The cheese sauce can’t cover the age of those fries. The rest of the food has been good so far.

I ordered a sub and a roady dinner which includes fries and coleslaw. Fries and coleslaw didn’t came in the order of almost $ 27. I called Venus and explained how my order of $ 27 got delievered with only a sub and 4 piece of chicken when the minimun is $ 12. Use common sence and pay attention to orders. It was disrespectful asking me of how they were supposed to know if I ordered a roady dinner knowing that they can review the order which includes the order total leading me to go to Venus and proove them wrong and pick up rest of the order. They should’ve at least refund delievery fee.

Delivery was fast; however the garlic bread is so not worth it since it’s only a stick of baguette with herbs sprinkled on top! Besides the fries were soggy, overall not recommended.

Yuck. I ordered «very light cheese» and received a pizza with extra cheese. And they forgot part of the order. 2 stars because at least they made the effort to bring the forgotten food on a second trip.

This is my local go to delivery joint since I moved to north cambridge 4 months ago. It can depend on what your getting though. The greek salad with chicken is better than the one the ACTUAL greek restaurant right nearby offers. Pizza is pretty good. And fries are excellent fat and crispy. Definitely happy to have Venus. I got a steak bomb once that was good but a little lacking in meat. It was still plenty for one person though. Definite thumbs up for Venus! A greek salad with chicken and small fry delivered is 13. Not bad at all.

For a quick and affordable bite in Teele Square, Venus is your best bet. A pretty straightforward pizza and sub shop, it may never surprise you, but it won’t let down either. The slices are large and cheap enough if you’re in a bind, and the portions on the full dinners are more than generous. And as someone that loves their little Greek food shops, the gyro really can’t be beat!
The spot isn’t the easiest on the eye, that’s maybe the only notch off in my book. But no complaints about the food.

I’m from VA but staying in Boston for a few days. I’m stuck indoors with 2 kids and have ordered from Venus several times. I got the opportunity to try several different things and they’ve all been super yummy and fresh tasting so far. We loved the Buffalo pizza, Chicken parm and chicken Kebob plate. Something a bit addictive about all their food! This place saved my stay here cuz they have so much variety and everything is tasty! Me, hubby and kids were all happy!
P. S. For Muslim consumers. It rocks that this place is halal!

Place is solid, ordered the chicken Kebob sub and it was made fresh to order and tasted delicious. I didn’t have the pizza, but was surprised how good it smelled and looked when the people next to me ordered it. Not «North End», but it gets the job done.

Just ordered from here again. Wow they are so good. My new favorite spot. Buffalo chicken salad has so much chicken. Onion rings are thick and kinda greasy but good. But I think if ur ordering onion rings, you might be looking for greasy. Fried chicken breast is huge and juicy. Got the «chefs special dessert» which ended up being carrot cake. All around I’m psyched to have finally found a spot in my area that stands up to my home town takeout places!

These guys do a pretty good job. Good food at an affordable price, and quick if you’re in a hurry or really hungry. Friendly staff always with a nice greeting makes this take out spot a convenience for those living in the Teele square area.

my first time ordering and its actually better than i expected. I got the Hawaiian pizza and fries during a bad storm. the delivery took about 20 mins and it was super hot (granted i live down the st). i would definitely order from there again.

I’ve only got delivery and I’ve always been happy. Always hot and on time. My boyfriend and I’s favorite is the Tufts pizza.
Barbecue pizza is usually not my go-​to but this one is amazing. The caramelized onions are delicious and the sauce is not sweet or smoky. The crust is a tiny bit crunchy but not greasy.
The cheesy, bacon fries are delicious also! They got delivered hot and they completely exceeded my expectations. The fries were not greasy, the cheese was hot and a good consistency and there was A TON of real bacon all over. It was quite heavenly.
The only thing to take caution of is when you order online (worth it) it automatically adds a tip. I realized this after and ended up tipping someone online and then in cash, so around 60%. I mean, I made some pizza boys night, but I could have gotten another order of cheesy fries!

Good little pizza shop right outside Teele Square. Recently changed their menu, but quality of food remained the same. Decent pizzas, subs & salads. Kabob salad dinners are a go to.

Tonight was the second time my boyfriend and I ordered pizza from Venus Pizza & Grill. Needless to say, the pizza is delicious! The first time, we ordered the Hawaiian pizza; the second time we ordered a regular cheese pizza with spinach and eggplant. Both times were great — the order was ready in 15 – 20 minutes, and the pizza was fresh and very tasty. Probably the best eggplant on a pizza I’ve ever had!
The only reason i didn’t give Venus 5 stars is because I haven’t had any of their other food. We’ll definitely be going back whenever we have a pizza craving.
A great choice if you’re in need of delicious (and AFFORDABLE) pizza in/​around Teele Square.

As pizza places go, this is a pretty good spot. Admittedly, I am mostly a fan because of the convenience to where I live but the guys here are really great. Super friendly and the food is always pretty quick. Decent prices and a good menu selection, so two wins there.
The food itself is fine. Nothing to write home about, but pretty good as pizza places go. They only have one size sub, which is fine for those with self control, but not so much for me.
Overall, thumbs up for Venus. If you’re looking for a quick bite in the Teele Square area or just don’t feel like making dinner, give em a try.

A good, clean pizza place. Best part about their pizza was the sauce. Grading on their pizza alone I might have given then three stars, but they really made the pizza the way we wanted: light on the cheese, extra sauce. Most places would almost ignore that kind of request, so they scored high points for that.

I had grown tired of getting the same old take-​out that I normally do, and ended up ordering from here entirely on a whim. It was OK.
Pizza’s good. Crust is decent. The pizza itself maaaaay be a tad greasier than it ought to be (or a lot) but I was in the mood for that, so I enjoyed it. Prices are OK. My small pizza was ten bucks.
Don’t bother with their salads if you’re doing take-​out or delivery. They aren’t anything special and it’d be cheaper to make your own (I’m just lazy).
Delivery was MUCH faster than the estimate I was given when I ordered through GrubHub. Good thing too, because I was starving.

While there are plenty of pizza options in the Teele Square area, Venus seems to stand above the rest in efficiency and customer care. How you say?!
These guys understand the value of a second. I hope you have a great idea of what you want when you call or walk in — they might not serve you if you fumble around trying to choose between toppings or what type of soda that you want to go along with your pie.
I believe they have an excellent two-​slice/​soda lunch special.
