We perform all our own site work such as column footings, underground power and communications. We are licensed by the State of California as a General and Electrical Contractor.

We serve the entire north bay area, including Sonoma, Marin, Contra Costa, Alameda, Solano, Lake, Mendocino, Santa Clara, San Francisco, and Napa Counties.

History

Established in 1989.

Access Control Systems began in 1989. Gate openers were just becoming mainstream for residences at that time. Since then, we have installed more than 3000 gate systems. We sell, design, install and repair automatic gate systems, ornamental iron, telephone and CCTV systems.

We are leaders in several fields: beautiful ornamental iron fabrication, state-​of-​the-​art electronics, and the highest installation standards. This allows us to offer a two-​year residential warranty, the longest warranty in the industry, because our installations are made to last! For commercial projects, we have done automated entry for 11 Post Offices as well as police departments and water facilities. With a dedicated service department, we can keep these gates running for years.

Business Owner

David opened Access Control Systems in 1989 after running a fence company in the 80s. Since then, David has successfully navigated the ups and downs of recent economic situations and has grown to include a dedicated service department, multiple gate installation crews, and an office staff to handle customer service.

David believes that customer service and forming a strong relationship with his customers is the foundation of his business. It is with this dedication to professionalism, quality work, and a support staff that takes pride in a job well done that he has been able to grow and flourish over his 25 years in business.

While running Access Control Systems, David raised four children along with his wife Paula, co-​owner of the business. He now enjoys spending time with his grandchildren when he’s not in the office.
