Lambert’s 76

The crew here is great! Now they also own the 76 on the corner of 2^nd St. and Napa St.
Most of the service type stuff is done at the other location, so you can see my review about Lambert’s 76 Service.
I’ve known these guys literally my entire life, and I trust them explicitly.

A mixed bag on this one: although the employees are super-​friendly, it’s a full-​service station which doesn’t always offer that comprehensive level of assistance. That is to say, sometimes when I drive in one or two attendants will dash out a la «Back to the Future,» practically whistling in their enthusiasm to help. Other times I’ll pull up and cobwebs could grow before someone comes to pump gas — even when the station doesn’t seem all that busy.
I’d still recommend it – I’m guessing that on those days when no one shows up to help you could probably track someone down and get a genuine apology for your efforts. And, on those days when I’ve needed them to do the whole shebang — windows, check tires, oil, etc. — they’ve generally been more than gracious in complying (especially Liz).

I love this gas station. Not only do they have attendants who’ll pump your gas for you, they can also fix your car.
I’ve been coming to this place since my personal mechanic relocated to Michigan. I never thought I’d find an «affordable» place to take my car (the last place I went to charged an arm and a leg) for maintenance and repair, but I found it!
I’ve taken my car here for smog checks, oil changes, battery service, and various repairs. Every time I’ve dropped my car off, they’ve turned it around quickstyle and equally important, AFFORDABLE! They’ve never added any extra services or work, and have even said no to repairs that I’ve asked about, because it wasn’t something I needed to do.
Last time I dropped my car off, they even replaced the brake light and the cap for my radiator, because they noticed the brake light wasn’t working and that the radiator cap needed to be replaced.
These guys are honest. I think I actually know them all by name now: Jeff, the owner, Lonnie, Jerry, Elizabeth and Mike.
Best gas station and car shop ever!
