Our dedicated and experienced team focuses on Domestic, European, and Asian vehicles: cars and trucks. Mercedes, Volvo, Toyota, and GM makes and models are our specialty! Our services include oil and filter changes, check engine light diagnosis and repair, Smogs, factory scheduled maintenance services, tires, brakes, belts, hoses, tune ups, fuel systems (fuel pumps, etc), batteries and charging systems, radiator and cooling systems (water pumps, etc), heating and air conditioning systems, transmission repair and overhaul, engine repair and overhaul, differential repair and overhaul, steering and suspension, electrical system diagnosis and repair, timing belt replacements.

We are factory trained in Mercedes Benz, Volvo, and Volkswagen. Independent trained and certified in Domestic, European, and Asain vehicle systems. ASE and SRJC certified technicians.

History

Established in 1999.

I started in the professional auto repair business in 1986 at the age of 16 years old. I served an apprenticeship at Bills Auto Electric in Santa Rosa while attending Santa Rosa Junior College where I earned a A.S. degree in Automotive Technology. After graduating SRJC I was hired by Mercedes Benz, received extensive MB training every year, and worked as a technician for 10 years before leaving to open Mike Larbre Automotive in Sonoma. My staff of three technicians and I attend regular training courses and update training several times yearly. While we specialize in MB, Volvo, and Volkswagen due to the fact that myself and one of my journey man technicians Paul Torzilli have received extensive factory training in those lines, we all service, maintain, and repair Domestic, Asain, and European cars and trucks. Together our technicians and myself have a combined 102 years of experience in the automotive repair field.

I sought instruction in many aspects of mechanical repair and servicing, such as welding, machine shop practices, and fabrication long before my professional career began. This was a advantage when formal training started and I accelerated rapidly in the business. I learned business and management skills early in preperation for owning my business
