Greg’s Barber Shop specializes in great customer service, and is a comfortable, clean Barber Shop with a touch of nostalgia. We also specialize in strait — razor work including face-​shaves, outline shaves, razor-​fades and beard and mustache trims. The Barbers in this shop have over thirty years of experience and give great haircuts varying from flattops to business men’s haircuts and also styling of longer men’s haircut’s. We also except women’s haircuts as well, although we do not have facilities to accommodate any chemical treatments.

No appointments are necessary just walk on in and we will make you «Look Better and Feel Better»!

History

Established in 1986.

Gregs Barber Shop was founded by Gregory Davies in a little town called Twain Harte located in the Sierra Nevada Mountains in California. In 1989 Greg moved the location of his Barber Shop from Twain Harte to the Indian Rock Center located in East Sonora, CA. The shop was originally a one man shop but in 2009 Greg sold his Barber Shop to a local gentleman and Barber named Timothy Morton. Tim has been the owner for over 6 years now and has turned it into a multi-​chaired Barber Shop that is open 6 days a week. The Barber Shop services multiple generations of families and friends and continues to function in the spirit and tradition of American Barber Shops, offering quality haircuts and customer service, antique Barber Chairs and other antique Barber Shop amenities, a place to socialize and catch up on the latest news and just a great place to see old friends and family. Business Owner

My name is Timothy Morton. I attended Barber College in Stockton, CA. I have been a licensed Barber for 10 years, and the owner/​operator of Gregs Barber Shop for 6 years. I am the Former President of the Sierra Professional Association and I am an active supporter of the American Cancer Society, and also the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. I am a firm believer in customer satisfaction and am always trying to learn and implement better ways of assisting my customers.

I am a family man and a musician. I love the great outdoors and everything that it has to offer. I love to spend time with my family, volunteering with my community, and my church.
