I work with dogs with behavior issues and train puppies to become great dogs, using proven positive and natural methods. I factor in each dog’s situation: Breed, background, temperament and – very importantly – household environment.

In the privacy of your home I’ll show you how each interaction with your dog builds upon and enhances desired behaviors. I create custom, success-​focused dog training programs and then stay in close contact with you until you’ve achieved your goals.

My focus is teaching people how to effectively interact with and train their dogs, typically in one or two sessions following a free in-​depth and informative phone consultation. Afterwards, I am your coach and support group, available by text, phone and email to help you along and answer any questions.

History

Established in 2010.

I have been working in the San Francisco Bay Area for years (check out my many 5-​star reviews for that location), and am now splitting my time between San Francisco and Santa Cruz.

Having owned well-​trained dogs all my life, I started Better Nature Dog Training to exploit decades of experience teaching across a number of fields. I am nationally-​certified through the highly-​respected Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers.

I teach people how to effectively train their dogs by clearly demonstrating that every interaction counts when training a dog to come when called, for example, or instructing a puppy how to best get along in life.
