E & G Exterminators

The salesman that came were nice. 2 men came, one was new. They kept interrupting each other and it was confusing. I should have bargained their price down but I just wanted to get rid of the ants in my house! I didn’t know that they wouldn’t spray that day, that they had to send someone else.
The day of my appointment I was told he would come between 9 – 11. He showed up at 12. After I called to find out where he was they said someone would call me back, nobody called back. I had to call again. When he did show up, he smelled awful. I had to air out my house from the smell of him.
Also, he told me they sent him to the wrong town.
Needless to say the spraying did not get rid of the ants.
A week later, he randomly showed up at my door without an appointment. He was even wondering why the office sent him to my house again.
Now I am here waiting for them to come again. I was told between 1 – 4. I called at 3:30 to make sure someone was assigned to my house. Nobody knew and said they would call me back. At 4:00 I called back and they said he would be here by 4:30. At 4:15 a man called me again and said he would be here at 5. I have a feeling nobody scheduled my house.
I have an infant at home that I had to bring to a friends house because she cannot be in the house when spraying or 4 hours after. This means she cannot return until at least 9pm.
I am very frustrated with this service.
A week lat

In 2009, a racoon had eaten through and got into the roof of my house. We called E & G to get rid of the racoon and set a trap in between my house and the next door neighbors’ house. They used cat food as bate. So I came home one night and heard meowing coming from in between the houses. Instead of trapping the racoon, they wound up trapping a cat instead. In a way I think this is considered to be a form of animal cruelty (which is now a felony in all 50 US States) hence, they were not careful with what they were doing to capture this rodent. At the same time, my house was severely infested with mice. They were successful at getting rid of the mice at the time.
In December 2014, after five years of being mouse free, our cleaning lady was cleaning behind our kitchen counter and found a mouse eating our food which caused her to freak out. We called E&G and they setup the same poisonous bate which was supposed to be contagious amongst the other mice, which eventually would kill them. They used the same substance in 2009. This time they gave us a 6 month guarantee that we would be without rodents. In February 2015, my mother was in the kitchen and saw mice crawling around our closed off back porch and setup the same poisonous substance. The didn’t charge us for this visit because of the guarantee they gave us.
I have also been told by my neighbors that most of E&G’s employees are ex cons. For the racoon incident and and having to call them back for the second round of mice infestations, I’ll give them 2 of 5.

We contacted this company this morning due to a worsening squirrel problem in our attic. They promised to have a technician at our home between 10am and 11am. After no show by 11:30, we called them and they promised that someone would be here by 1pm. 1pm came and went, and still no technician showed up. Long story short, they pushed the time back 4 more times until after 5pm. I have wasted my entire day because of the incompetence of their scheduling staff. They made no effort whatsoever to let us know they would be late, and we had to call them each time to find out what was going on.

The salesman promised the bed bug problem would be solved in three visits. Five visits later, the problem remains unsolved. Since their chemicals weren’t working, we requested heat treatment before their final visit and the owner promised the techs scheduled to arrive the next day would bring the necessary equipment. They didn’t have it when they showed up. This company didn’t deliver on a single promise it made.
When we called after they broke their promise of sending heat treatment equipment they gave us the run around and refused to refund our money until they were contacted by Angie’s
on our behalf.
You’d save time, money and aggravation if you burned your house down to solve a pest problem.
