Rip-​offs! Do not buy or go to this place. The store looked ok at first, but his prices are unreasonable, and everything is so out-​dated it’s like stepping back in the 90’s. Everything is low-​end and mostly used parts.
I purchased a power supply from him because I was building a custom pc for my son for his birthday. Of course I could have ordered online from Newegg but I wanted to support a local business. I immediately installed it and nothing. Completely dead, so I thought maybe I should double-​check my hardware. I put it in another pc I have that I know works, and nothing again. Finally I put it in my high-​end custom gaming rig I built (probably worth more than all of his inventory) and not a damned thing. We then used a multimeter to test it and sure enough the power supply was dead. I should also add that it was missing a 6 pin connector so I bought that from him too– something that should have came with it according to the online specs from the manufacturer.
I called them immediately to let them know both things and he straight up called me a liar and told me that I burned it out. First off, I have been building computers since I was a teen. My father was an engineer for Intel and AMD so I grew up around computers, and my husband builds semiconductors. I have worked as a tech and supervisor for Apple, Google, and Microsoft and never have I fried a component, because I always check the specs for compatibility. It infuriated me that he was talking to me like I was an idiot trying to rip him off. He told me that he tested it in front of me as I was buying it which was a bold faced lie. He did not test it, and my husband who was there attested to that. I even gave this jerk a free brand new motherboard I had no use for just to help support his business and I regret doing so. He told me that everything sold is as-​is and no refunds. I didn’t even ask for one. I asked for a replacement. He does not have his policy posted so buyer beware if you buy garbage from this guy you’re not getting your money back. I was shaking after the phone call. Never have I had someone be so rude to me and belittle me like he did.
I took it back to the store and the woman at the counter told me that he tested it in front of me. Yet again a lie that I am tired of hearing. I left it for him to test himself because I highly doubt he ever has. I finally called my bank to ask for an investigation and chargeback and they did it immediately. The rep told me that they had no problem doing so because they have him marked as a bad business. I found out recently as well that he has a terrible reputation in this area. I was laughed at by a co-​worker because I guess everyone here knows to avoid him because he’s a jerk and scammer. Save your time and money and just avoid this guy.

My husband and I gave two computers to them for fixing. They charged us $ 60 (30×2) for a «diagnostic» which led up to them saying they could not do anything … I had a make and he a PC. They did not touch the Mac because it couldn’t start (well, that’s why I took it there– you’re supposed to find a way to make it start !). As for the PC, they said it could not start either when it could at home! What we thought was a fan problem was a graph card problem and we were told it would take $ 300 dollars to fix it because he would need to replace EVERYTHING inside. The computer was 6 years old so we did not think it was worth paying that much money for.
We went there because they were the closest but we should have read reviews online before.
Honestly, they are not even that knowledgable-​i brought in a new charger for my Mac since they told me that that was the problem (they offered to sell me one for $ 50 but AppleCare provided one for free) and the lady (bobby’s mom apparently) did not even know how to take it appart and almost broke it ! Of course, that was not the problem either and the computer still did not start.
So I ended up going back one week and a half later, with two still broken computers, $ 60 less in my wallet and a whole lot of bitterness. Hope that they go out of business and that someone else worth going to takes over.
I repeat: do NOT go there.
September 2014 UPDATE:
The seller contacted me in private to let me know that both computers had a motherboard problem. This was WRONG.
After I wrote the review, I ended up going to the Apple Store in Corvallis (one hour each way) to have them take a look at it. They let us know that my Mac would not turn on because of a problem with the keyboard (the On button being included in it). We had them take a look at it and got it back 4 days after that. It has been working wonderfully ever since and I did not have to pay to replace the motherboard.
Do NOT take your business there.

My first review was a five star– and up until recently, I would have referred Quick’s Computer Service to anyone… However, I was completely thrown for a loop. Before deciding to review, I did call, twice, to correct the issue but I got lame excuses and was insulted more with each attempt…
Earlier this year, I closed my business for a week to get my computers cleaned and upgraded if possible. I worked on one, and Quick’s Computer Services worked on another. I called in on a Wednesday and was told if I dropped it off first thing the following Monday morning, I would have a full assessment by later that morning and possibly pick up the computer by the end of that day. After calling earlier on Wednesday for a status and given a whole lot of hoopla about how they’re debugging and cleaning it out, It wasn’t until Wednesday –late afternoon– that I got the call asking me for my computer access password.
BOLD FACED LIE #1 Computer was never touched until Wednesday in spite of statuses that included «boy, it’s pretty messed up with viruses» and «we’ve been working just on this computer for the last couple of days».
I was then told that it would be finished but I didn’t get the call until Friday afternoon that I had 10 – 15 minutes to pick it up as the owner was leaving on a 3-​day trip out of town. Really??? I literally stopped everything I was doing to head over since my one-​day fix was now a five-​day nightmare and I just didn’t have another three days to go without having it.
Upon arrival, I got the owner and a staff member raving about how much faster things were working and how unbelievably infected with viruses my computer was… then the owner proceeded to sell me Norton Anti-​Virus Software (2013). I was already so upset by the time I picked up my computer, I didn’t even realize it was a 2013 edition. In addition and unbeknownst to me, in just a few weeks, Window’s XP would no longer be supported for updates and patches making the anti-​virus software completely irrelevant. I find it hard to believe that a computer service place wouldn’t have known this in advance.
Now here’s where it gets good…
I was told that my computer was de-​fraged and wiped clean of viruses and that it had been checked for upgrades but that it was unnecessary at that time. The motherboard and all hardware had all been cleaned and checked and that it should be running pretty dang smooth.
Unfortunately, I got home and after crash, upon crash, lock up, frozen, and unable to even install the anti-​virus software– I called. I was told that it is most likely my external storage or the USB port connections that were causing the issue. Being that Quick’s Computer Services was the one who installed my last ports, I automatically dismissed this theory.
So, I sent it to a computer tech friend and was shocked to learn that part of my slow issues were because there was so much dust inside, my fan wasn’t able to keep by boards cool.
BOLD FACED LIE #2 Computer was never even opened and hardware was never checked.
My friend proceeded to defrag my computer which hadn’t been done in about two years.
BOLD FACED LIE #3 Computer was never defragged by Quick’s Computer like they claimed they did.
With the help of a friend and in just a couple of hours, an added single stick of RAM and another payment to fix my computer, it works near as good as when I first built it– nearly nine years ago. Yup, I built this computer. The Quick’s Computer owner didn’t realize that I was a bit more savaay than he thought. I simply didn’t have time to work on it– something I regret not making time for.
The one question you may be asking is if this happened earlier in the year then why wait til now to share my experience? Simple: As a business owner myself, I’m much better at praising good service rather than sharing the bad side of it. However, another fellow businessman has been getting ripped off by the same computer place (not my story to share) and it infuriates me that this is not an isolated incident. I now feel like if more people knew the integrity of this owner and stopped doing business with him then he would either 1. wise up and become the type of business owner we can put our trust in –or– 2. he’s going to go out of business and someone who’s worth investing in will take his place.
