great food and great atmosphere. but the staff seems stressed and overwhelmed. been there 5 – 6 times and always the same.

Worst service. How long does it take for a bagel? They skipped over me in line because I didn’t want a beverage.

Nice local spot for a quick bite to eat and some coffee. Large range of options for breakfast and lunch. Also many coffee flavors to choose from. Dine in or take out. Quick service. The place is a little small but most people are in and out of the door relatively quick. There is also seating at the counter. Banana Hazelnut seems to be a fan favorite when it comes to the coffee. I had the French Vanilla and that was tasty too.

I Loved the cranberry café on east Broadway. My bacon egg and cheese was TODIEFOR, and my iced hazelnut coffee was served to perfection. The service on Sunday was amazing, and one worker, Bridget I believe, was an absolute sweetheart. I will definitely be back !!! :-)

Cranberry Café was my go to spot every weekend when I was living in Southie. It may sound blasphemous to say but the iced coffee here is the best in Southie(sorry PS Coffee) especially the banana hazelnut. Breakfast sammies here are also great. Haven’t tried any of the smoothies but they seem to be popular and good quality. The line in the morning on weekends can be a pain though, call ahead and place your order so when you arrive its ready!

Been here two weekends in a row now — I had NO idea that there was a charming coffee shop/café was right in Southie. What I like about Cranberry Café is that the register for ordering and service is right at the front, but the back of the café has plenty of space for those who want to camp out in solace with their laptop, book, or newspaper. Unlike, say, Starbucks, where I have no idea how anyone ever gets anything done because the distractions of foot traffic grant you zero privacy. The coffee is just strong enough, and they put smiley faces on the takeout order bags. The staff are also incredibly polite, helpful, and patient. Friendly, tasty, and quaint. Sold!

Great coffee, great sandwiches, but the line and the wait for food are preventing this place from getting 5 stars. I guess this is what happens when you serve delicious sandwiches, everyone wants them. If you are stopping by for a quick iced coffee, you should definitely grab one here.

This review is strictly in regard to their iced coffee, primarily because my roommate I and order it(yes, delivery from roughly 4 blocks away because weekend mornings are hard) to our apartment every weekend. It’s delicious, there’s a whole lot of variety, and today we are ordering TWOEACH. My roommate says the iced coffee«makes [her] tastebuds come alive with joy.» Keep doing what you’re doing, Cranberry Café. Someday we might even visit you.

We ordered a bacon egg & cheese on a wrap and this is what we got! We paid full price and got what looked like a half of a wrap with almost nothing in it!

Never have gotten my delivery under 1 ½ hours. Usually closer to 2 hours, which is ridiculous. The 2nd star is for their home fries. Those are pretty great

I’ve only been here once, but I’d like to go again to give it another try. The snickerdoodle coffee was EXCELLENT. The restaurant interior is very cute. The sandwich I had wasn’t great and the wait was pretty long(about 20 minutes and we were the only ones there at the time). I’d like to try some of their other things, like their breakfast, before deciding not to go back.

Not worth the wait, head to American provisions for better food and better service

Where else can you get an ice coffee with Almond milk and a breakfast sandwhich for under 8.00 in this city?! Well, and least have it be delish. I love the cranberry café. All the girls that work there are friendly and hard working. Sure, sometimes the line can be long at rush hour breakfast times, but call ahead or order online. If the place is good, it should be busy!

Ordered delivery from GrubHub: The home fries were DELISH! I ordered the chicken salad sandwich(comes with chips but the details on GH don’t tell you that). Delivery was about 30 minutes early. Will definitely order again!

The food is good, but they DONOTDODELIVERY. They are on Foodler saying they do, but they are consistantly 90+ minutes for delivery, so they might have someone with a car that works there, but they don’t deliver. This has happened about three times to me(once they lost my order) and now I have learned my lesson. So buyer beware: 1 – 2 hour delivery times and maybe you’ll get a sorry.

Two stars for the coffee. Unfortunately just had one of the worst breakfast sandwiches I’ve ever had — bacon, egg, and cheese on a bagel, but the bagel was burnt and I think they microwave their eggs(not scrambled like Boston Bagel, more like sunny side up but… microwaved). The bacon was wilted, and cheese just got lost in the dryness of the bagel. Considering its proximity to Sidewalk Café(go there instead if you’re hungry) and Boston Bagel Company, you would think they would up their game with breakfast sandwiches.

After capping off a run around the water, we popped in on a Saturday morning to try and quench our thirst and hunger. The cute little café has maybe 10 or so tables inside and 2 outside, so plenty of seating if you get here early. The young staff behind the scenes weren’t as friendly as I had expected which knocked it down a star. The café we ordered was a bit too WATERY as well and the smoothie DIDN’T taste like fresh fruit was used in it and really didn’t do it for us. The one highlight here was definitely the pumpkin spiced bagel with cream cheese that was so GOOD. If I were ever in the area, I wouldn’t expect much friendliness from the service but would order the bagel again.

I was all excited when I saw their sandwich board w/the different smoothie options. I hate to say this but this had to be the worst smoothie I have ever had. I like supporting small, local businesses but not a fan of this place. It’s small & cute w/nice artwork on the walls & has loads of potential. I also don’t understand why they don’t have prices on their menu board. Are you supposed to guess how much something is or you trying to rip people off?

I stopped in earlier this week one day before work. Cute place. The breakfast sandwich with cream cheese was very good. I think if you are going to offer iced coffee it obviously needs to be ready by the time you open. The girl offered to pour warm coffee over a full cup of ice. Um no. This was in response to me asking for light ice and her saying it has to be full of ice because it is still warm. So you want to charge me for almost no coffee and mostly ice. I asked for a dark roast, which was not that good, as too light coffee tastes watered down, and you can’t even put your own cream in it. The area in the back where the microwave is would be a good place to leave out cream and milk so people can do it themselves or even buy the mini half and halfs. I also asked for some coffee cake. Now on the menu it says it is around $ 1.70. I was charged $ 3. When I asked about it she said the one in the case is gluten free. Ok but if it is in a plastic, labeled case why is the price not right on there so people know it costs more. Why would I think the price is different than on the menu? You always honor your listed prices, period. I don’t need gluten free, just whatever coffee cake I see on the counter. No reason for that. She said sorry for the confusion but the appropriate response is We will fix it. An essential reply of too bad doesn’t go over well with customers. The girl was friendly but that is still not great customer service. Breakfast is easy to come by in Southie. I am really not that picky but these are pretty basic things any café needs to have down. I work nearby so I may stop in again sometime but work out the coffee and pricing please.

Quick service and my to go bag had a smile on it :) Everything bagel was thick and had lots of cream cheese – more is better than less!
