Park on street or liquor store lot. Friendly staff. Good prices. Tons of topping choices as well as flavors. Has hard and soft ice cream. Many different cones to pick from. Benches to sit on. I had soft serve chocolate with chocolate sprinkles… Hit the spot on a summer night. Def will be back. :)

I’m not one for huge sundaes or cones quadruple dip sized but when you get a cone your shih tzu could gobble down in one bite, your portion control is for the birds. They are the closest ice cream place from me and I betrayed Colonia Dairy Maid by coming here. I guess getting a lousy cone was my punishment.

The kids wanted ice cream after their game, this one was the closest. The place is a small place– there’s no inside seating. The Ice cream was great. Friendly service! It was in a great place that you can walk to see the small town.

This walk-up, little mom n pop ice cream store on the side of a busy road offers many hard, Home made, ice cream flavors and only three soft serve flavors. The ice cream I had was delicious, vanilla almond butter with almonds. I chose a chocolate chip cone bc I had never had one, but wasn’t too impressed: it tasted like a flat rolled up hard semi sweet chocolate chip cookie. Really good ice cream though!

Hi Tams is more than an ice cream parlor, it’s an institution in the small working class community of South Bound Brook. The owner Harry is friendly, funny, and always helpful and kind to his customers. He even brought out a dish of water for my dog! The ice cream itself is good and the price is fair. His piña colada flavored Italian ice is amazing. We love Hi Tams and hope it stays for many years to come.

This ice cream shop is the real deal. They make good ice cream with large portions and incredible service. Would you believe they gave us some free ice cream there? Yes they like what they do and they stand by what they make. Go there and see for yourself. I went there by accident and was not disappointed.

Wow this is REALLY good ice cream(I usually go to Thomas Sweet in New Brunswick). I got the cake batter with chocolate chips and it was amazing. My dad loved the chocolate peanut butter. They make the hard ice cream themselves. The old man was a character! Not rude at all like the other review said. He was so adorable and hilarious. But most importantly, the ice cream was delicious! Yum. CASHONLY

I have gone here for years and i can honestly say, this ice cream parlor is awesome and historical. I always get a chocolate ‘baby’ cone and it is the best thing on this earth on a hot summer day.

A — Hate that this place is closed most of the year. Um, most people love ice cream everyday of the year… B — I don’t like the way it tastes. It’s that kind with the weird texture and the black bits throughout it. On the plus side, the older gentleman serving the ice cream was super sweet.

Super nice people! The peanut butter hard ice cream is sooooo good. The lemon flavor Italian also taste great! It does not taste artificial. They also gave my dog a doggie cone which is lactose free soft ice cream. My dog loved it! Go try it out, u won’t regret it. However, I think cuz of all the sweets on the floor. There are some bugs, I got 5 bug bites. Super itchy but the ice cream is definitely worth it.

Their soft serve portions are huge! Very friendly owner and open in the summer only. There are 3 benches by the place so you can sit down and eat your ice cream treat. It’s one of those local businesses you definitely feel good supporting!
