History

Established in 1897.

The Business was originally incorporated as CH Goss Co. out of St. Johnsbury by the Goss family. After originally being a Packard distributor, CH Goss Co. took on the Dodge Bros franchise in 1917 (only 3 years after Dodge Bros started the company in Detroit MI). Eventually moving the Auto business to Burlington back in the 40’s, Goss spent some time on Mainstreet in Burlington before moving to North Avenue for many years. The final move came in 1970 to our current location on Route 7 (Shelburne Rd) in S Burlington. The company was purchased by long time General manager, Doug Hoar in 1979 and re-​incorporated as Goss Dodge Inc. Currently Goss is operating under the management of Brian Hoar, Doug’s son. Goss Dodge purchased the Chrysler franchise from South Burlington Chrysler in 2009 and is now doing business as Goss Dodge Chrysler. With a sincere focus on the internet business, Goss is the #1 selling Dodge, Chrysler and RAM seller in New England for 2011&2012. (cumalitive sales)

Greg has over 25 years of experience in the automotive industry. While starting out as a salesman in his younger years, the 20 most recent years of experience have been as a sales manager. He has been the General Sales Manager at Goss Dodge Chrysler for over 7 years and is liked by all of his peers, employees and most importantly his customers.
