Keys get locked in the car, call made to AAA, quoted 30 mins ETA, driver arrives in 15, unlocks car in under 2 mins, problem solved, end of story.

They are in the unfortunate position of being the place you have to call when you absolutely don’t want to. I’d say most of the time they show up on the scene, the customer is having a bad day or is already in a bad mood. I had to use them because they are contracted through AAA and god knows I never want to have to call AAA.
The man who showed up to help me was rude but customer service goes out the window if the guy can get you back on your way quickly. Unfortunately, the guy arrived 30 minutes after the ETA text said he would and was rude. I had to pay him $ 6 for whatever reason and I was well informed of this fact before the guy came and was fine with it. I had a 10 and a 5 but no ones. He didn’t have change which is odd seeing how he had a company truck and was expected to collect money. Normally, I’d give him the ten and call it even but he was rude and I decided I didn’t want to. I offered him the 5 and he told me he would charge me with theft of services. This is over $ 1. I realize that if every customer shorted him $ 1 he’d be out like $ 8 at the end of the day but to make the only solution taking an extra $ 4 from the customer just feels crappy, which is part of the reason I didn’t want to take that route. In the end, we solved our problem with a credit card and a long phone call back to headquarters but it took a little back and forth and some hard feelings to get there. Honestly, the credit card solution should have been offered right away as in you can pay me with cash, check, or a credit card.
Now to be fair, I’ve had a decent experience with AAA with different drivers. I think they all represented Spillane’s because I’m pretty sure Spillane’s handles all AAA calls in this area. Even at that, I wouldn’t use Spillane’s unless I had to and when I use AAA, I have to.

It was the best of times: between going to school, starting an amazing new job, and working on house renovations in order to rent it out, things were looking really bright.
It was the worst of times: our car’s engine died right as we had the least amount of money and the most riding on the need for personal transportation.
Normally, Spillane’s sells abandoned cars to folks looking for parts or a weekend project. What I needed was a two-​month bandaid car, nothing fancier than something that would go when I pressed the gas pedal and stop when I pressed the brakes. Frankly, the Elantra we bought as-​is was not that car.
What happened next was probably a unicorn experience. Spillane’s had no reason to put the time and effort into the car that they did, significantly undercharging me for both the labor and the parts. I’m blown away by their generosity and their help. Thanks entirely to them, I can still be in school, still get to work, and we’re not hemorrhaging money to make those both happen. (Granted, that may be a not hemorrhaging money *yet.* They fixed up the Elantra, but nothing short of miracle-​working would make her worry-​free.)
The point is, though, these guys went completely above and beyond for me. These are some wonderful people who work here.

My boyfriend’s car broke down in a parking lot in Williston. We called AAA and they sent James from Spillane. He was helpful, kind, and timely. He tried several things to get our car started before he towed us to a nearby shop.
Our experience was nothing like those of other reviewers (thankfully). They were prompt, courteous, and helpful.

These guys were contracted through Subaru Roadside assistance to pick up our vehicle from the Richmond Park and Ride around 11pm after hitting an animal on the highway and sustaining extensive damage.
One of their drivers accepted the page from Roadside Assistance and confirmed they would pick up the vehicle. We were texted a pickup confirmation, ETA, and directed phone number to Spillane, so we left the vehicle. We awoke this morning to find the vehicle was never picked up!
Upon calling Spillane in the morning, they claimed they had no record of the service call and knew nothing about the vehicle (Subaru heavily disputed this fact and got involved). Subaru was then told that the roads were «too icy and the driver kept getting stuck» so the vehicle wasn’t picked up. Here’s the kicker… there wasn’t a flake of snow on the roads and the Park and Ride was completely clear! Now we have a insurance agent showing up to look at a car that is no where to be found ultimately delaying repairs on a vehicle needed for Holiday travel.
Instead of owning their mistake, Spillane decided to lie about it in an effort to save face. Rude, unreliable and unprofessional. DO NOT trust this company in an emergency situation.
