Dennis Cycle Center

Happy! Basically the start of the CCRT (cape code railroad trail) in Dennis (mile 1 out of 22 miles). If you are a visitor, you can park (free) here and then start the CCRT bike path. I borrowed the bike for 6 hours and cost me only $ 17 w/​tax. Don’t get the wicker basket, weak little thing. Also, I actually biked the whole 22 miles– spend more for a better bike, your @ss will thank you!

I’ve traveled from west coast to east coast. Experienced a large variety of bicycle shops from home town to large corporate. Dennis cycle center is by far one of the most top notch bicycle shops I’ve ever been too. Super friendly and helpful. I often come in for tune ups and pre-​season checks. Super fast turn around and reasonable prices. Would recommend to anyone beginning to enter the sport. They have rentals too!

Dennis Cycle Center is really great. Open year round, excellent location, great customer service paired with equally impressive technical expertise. Big show room and clean (if that matters?)
I brought in two bikes in need of tune ups/​rehab. One is your standard trail bike (some rust, never serviced in the time I’ve had it), the other is a really old Schwinn that has seen better decades (rusted fenders, handles, dried out brakes, you name it.) I was worried the Schwinn was terminal. It’s a 45 year old bike that had been stored outside under a tarp for about the past 5 years. Anyone remember last winter? Yeah. The bike is a piece of art but I was open to replacing it because I know jack about bikes and was worried it would be so expensive to fix.
I’m really glad I went into the DCC because Matt reassured me that it could be fixed without going broke. No surprises with the prices, really excellent communication, I wasn’t made to feel stupid for asking what I’m sure were rookie questions. I even ordered a 4 bike bike rack that Matt installed and showed me how to use, grabbed a helmet, a lock, phone holder. Oh and how did the bikes come out? GORGEOUS. Rust is gone, shining like a diamond, riding like a Royce. Better than they’ve ridden in the time I’ve had them. This was long overdue but now that I have a place I can bring em I won’t neglect to take them in when they need it.
Matt, Adam, and Grover are definitely worth dropping in on if you have bike issues and/​or need to re up on accessories. They answered all my questions with patience and like they hadn’t been asked 38 733 times. Except for Grover because PLOT TWIST HE’S A DOG!
Just really a great all around experience.

Excellent Customer Service! Located right on Dennis’s picturesque bike trail, this is a must stop for bike rentals or purchase.

Super friendly service. We rented 2 bikes from here. The rentals come with helmets, a lock, and basket (optional) at no extra charge. The best part is that the shop is located right on the cape cod trail. So just leave your car parked at the bike shop and hop on your bike to hit the trail. They also have free maps to take with you in case you’re unfamiliar with the route.
Will def be back next time we’re in the area.

I’ve used this place twice this summer. The staff was helpful and friendly. The prices are reasonable. And the CCRT runs right behind it. I will take my business there again.

We just wanted to get some help inflating our bike tires. Come on down was what they said. Free air on the corner of the building if that is all it takes or all the handholding we needed they would help us out.
A friendly helpful guy made sure the boys bikes had the right amount of air, adjusted the handlebar on one (no charge) and helped us find a bike pump for back home that actually works!

Great place to rent bikes. We were in an out of there in 5 mins with 4 awesome bikes. Seats were very comfortable. Right on Cape Cod Rail Trail. Kids complained when we told them we were going biking but only minutes after we got on the bikes they were exclaiming, «This is fun!»

Great staff, and right on the Rail Trail! The best place for bikes on the Cape!

I’ve used Dennis Cycle a few times over the years for rentals and always found the bikes to be in good order, the staff friendly, and the prices fair. Recently we decided to purchase bikes and stopped in to find out information on what they carried. The staff was friendly and informative and gave us great info about what type of bikes suited our riding style as well as some great info about bikes in general (i.e. how it’s common for bikes made by different manufactures to all have the same or similar shifters etc).
They carry new bikes and that they sell off their rental fleet most years after labor day.
We ended up being able to get a couple of the former rental hybrid bikes right after labor day and they are fantastic. The price (about $ 290 each for Fuji Crosstown 1.1s) was great and the bikes were in fabulous shape. A few weeks after purchasing, I noticed the lockout tab on my bike’s fork was missing and we happened to be nearby so we stopped by. The staff member who helped us was great, even offering to swap the entire bike if he didn’t have the part available (which totally wouldn’t have been necessary but was great to see how strongly they stand behind their product). He happened to be able to pull one off another rental bike and popped it on mine and we were in an out in about 5 minutes.

This place was a great find! The 2 guys helping us could not have been more helpful. The bikes were in great condition. A couple of us had Fuji Crosstown hybrids and now I want one for myself. They are of course right on the Rail Trail. Accessories like baskets and helmets are included with the rental. They let me tap into their WiFi as I was having trouble connecting at the place I was staying. Lots of parking and safe.

My youngest’s bike blew out it’s tire. Not the tube, but the actual tire. It was a brand new «beater» bike from Target. Being down on the Cape there was no way to return it to the store and he needs his bike. Needless to say, I was not happy.
I called them up and they said they could fix it while we waited. Not only did they fix it in short order, they found a slightly used tire as well to save me a little coin on the low end bike.

Pulled in to rent some bikes and were on the trail in under 5 minutes. They will let you use helmets, baskets and locks with your rental. Right on the CCRT, so a beautiful ride is just outside their door. When we were finished with the ride, just signed the credit card slip and we were on our way. Nice guys with a well-​run rental shop.

Great location right on bike trail. Good bikes and great service at fair prices… what else can you ask for?

My boyfriend and I are visiting from Vermont and wanted something active yet relaxing to do. The service was fast and friendly, they took the time to explain the rail trail map and some stops along the way that might interest us. The bikes were comfortable and the prices were great! I highly recommend them!

This is one of our most enjoyable activities during our recent trip to Cape Cod. I’ll just bullet point the goodies about this place to make it simple to read.
1) They have all kinds of bikes, for adults, kids, tandem bikes, and trailers for little ones. My 4-​year old daughter enjoyed her ride in the trailer so much that she wanted to go biking again the next day.
2) The shop is right on the trail.
3) The trail is paved, shaded, and flat. It’s prefect for a leisurely ride with family or friends.
4) Staff is pretty nice and helpful.
