Ring Bros Marketplace

I have been treated by the staff at this store so rudely on several occasions that I emailed the store two months ago and haven’t yet received the decency of a reply. So if you want to be treated with disdain by all means shop here. Furthermore, if you want to shop at similar stores Whole foods is about 10 miles up route 6, Dennis Public Market is close by as well.

I let the poor and rotten produce slide. Even let the stale pastries, fish passed it’s prime, rude customer service, and high prices slide, but this is where I put my foot down and finally break up with Ring Bros.
Why oh why (especially when you have a sushi chef on hand) do the sushi rolls have to be so dried out and disgusting! And, what is with the use of fake crab meat? For the prices that they are charging, one would expect fresh and authentic fish.
There was nothing even redeemable about the sushi even when dipped in tons of soy sauce (less the BROWN wasabi that was included in the trays) could resolve.
Sorry, but this is where I break up with Ring Bros. and they lose the hundreds of dollars that I spend with them on a monthly basis and go elsewhere.

LOVE a this little gem in east Dennis near the Harwich line. my mother and I come at least once a summer when shopping across the street at the shops and enjoy sitting outside while lunching on a wide variety of their homemade delicacies including Italian and wonderful sushi. they are known for specialty foods rather than typical grocery items but they do supply a fair share of that as well.

Ring Bros is our «go to» store when we want the freshest fish, farm fresh fruits and veggies, and food products a little out of the ordinary. The people who work the fish market are very nice and helpful. It’s a little pricey, but well worth it for the quality. We would be lost without Ring Bros.

Revamped this year. Even better. Great prepared meals. Better produce than at Stop & Shop across the street.

It’s overpriced, but some of their offerings are great… wonderful fresh fish; the cod cakes at the specialty counter that may still be called Nata’s Noodles are wonderful.
But you have to look closely at produce… and some is great, but expensive. Their bakery is pretty blah and/​or overly sweet (except for the lime tarts).
Prepared meals… some are good; some not. Chicken pie is great.
Food shopping at the Cape is complicated… here’s how I do it: Stop & Shop for the basics; Shaw’s for produce; Ring Bros. for specialty stuff… and hamburger meat and fish.

If you are heading to the beach they are a decent place to pick up a sandwhich on the way. They do however frequently mix up orders so you need to spell it out to them. There is nothing worse then getting down to the beach to find your order is wrong.

I think this is a great local food store. Produce has always been great and I find prices comparable to stop and shop and their specialty items similar to whole foods. They should consider opening a pizza counter and it’d be perfect for that one place for everything!

I really like it here; we have a house around the corner from Ring Bros and I enjoy quick trips to get whatever I am looking for at the moment. LOVE the cupcakes from Montilio’s, the premade pasta dishes from Nadas Noodles. I have never had anything but fresh goodness from them.

This review is for Harney’ Liquor Store housed in Ring Brothers. Ed’s the man! He always makes amazing wine recommendations. Great selection and great prices. Just scored a bottle of King’s Estate Pinot Noir for 29.99. I hope I can save it for V Day!

Love Ring Bros, but Nata’s Noodles another story too bad. You buy meat balls expensive and then get charged more for a little sauce to heat them up in and I talked to the owner about this and he reaffirmed this policy so sad… So off to Peterson’s they are very yummy and customer friendly!

Oh Ring Bros, you hurt so good. In the summer, we go to the mega Stop & Shop across the street and fight the crowds to stock up on packaged goods (e.g., chips, smore ingredients, soda, firewood, etc.) and then cross the way to Ring Bros to buy fresh ingredients like meat, produce, and fresh desserts and pasta salads.
Pros:
+ Although I am a vegetarian, my family swears by their meat and seafood selection. They have bacon & cheese stuffed hamburger patties that frequent our grill as well as chicken breasts and wings, ribs, pork and more. The hubby also bought some of their salmon to grill and raved about it.
+ They sell wine and beer!
+ They have a great veggie selection and awesome salad bar. In the summer we buy summer squash and zucchini to grill and big buckets of strawberries and blueberries to eat with whipped cream.
+ Natas Noodles in the back has a lot of yummy pre-​made pasta salads. Favorites include the greek bowtie pasta featuring feta and dill and the sundried tomato and spinach orzo pasta. They also sell thin, breaded pieces of eggplant that I like to fry on the grill. Yum.
+ The bakery has a great selection of desserts and we often buy a package of cupcakes for special occasions. One of the best desserts I got there was a peanut butter and chocolate cake thing that was mindblowingly amazing.
+ They have a unique and interesting selection of marinades and sauces. I’ve found some good concoctions I’ve used to marinade tofu for the grill.
+ The staff is friendly and helpful.
Cons:
+ As others have echoed, this place is REALLY pricey. Try to walk out of there spending less than $ 100, I dare you. I don’t think it’s possible. Part of the problem is that you go in with a list but find so many other interesting or tasty things you end up with more than you planned.

We happened upon Ring Bros. on a trip to our Cape cottage early in the summer when we had to stop in Dennis for something else. Before Ring Bros. we used to stop at Whole Foods in Hingham and fill our ice chest – but now we have a place that is just as good, not as expensive (but not cheap either) and much closer to our home. They have nice produce, and often feature local farmers, nice meat and fish, and, as others have mentioned, the pizza is terrific. I did not know you could buy their pizza dough but will be sure to ask next time I go.

This is the best gorcery store in the Dennis area. They have specialty foods, seafood, fresh baked goods. Amazing unique little gifts and great flowers. It is a little pricey so go to stop and shop across the street for your basics but if you want something special come here. Oh and they also sell beer and wine. Yah!

Just one of those places where you go in for one thing and you fill up the cart. Thankfully, the carts here are small. Not sure that makes alot of sense because once it was overflowing we stopped.
Ok so we start with my concerns: the herbs that were packed in plastic should have been thrown out. They were once fresh and now dried. The bags of small potatos were dated by two weeks. Never knew you potatos expired except when well you knew, but these little red potatos were labeled that way. The grapes had seen a better day and were not as good as they looked. So now I’m done and really can’t find too much fault as dated items in stores on the Cape seem to be a way of life or par of the shopping experience. With the quality of this store, I think it tells me that they just goofed.
The pizza dough is superb. Do they sell it? Just ask and they deliver. As we have an outdoor pizza oven at home, I’m always in search of good dough as it so much easier to buy packaged and just start cooking. No wheat though.
Seafood was superbly displayed and looked super fresh which led me to buying 2 dozen Wellfleets. Yes, wellfleets the absolute very best. I would have liked some Dennis gems but there were none to be had. The Wellfleets eaten the next day were delicious and meaty as they should be in April.
The bride bought piles of flowers and was assisted by the florist who couldn’t have been more helpful as I nailed 3 containers of Nata’s raviolis.
So produce B; pizza dough A; seafood A; and yes the Italian stallion wheat roll up with delicious hot peppers and my wifes turkey roll up with bacon were large and eaten in the truck as they should be as we drove down Route 6 swerving back and forth.
Go back for this market and shopping. Probably. As good as Idylwilde in Acton… nope but better than Stop and Flop. Oh yea and booze next door.

Whenever I come in here I end end up spending double the time and double the money I intended to. However… it’s so worth it. The wine selection is so much more extensive than the regular liquor store and they have a ton of random beers. If you need a simple gift for a party or something, you can totally find it in their little «home» section. They have the best seafood market which Stop and Shop doesn’t even hold a candle to (obviously). And Nata’s Noodles is like heaven. Thier desserts are so delish and perfect to bring as a gift to anyone. This place seriously has everything you need. It’s obviously not for your huge family style shopping adventure but more for your run-​out-​and-​grab-​some-​awesome-​stuff-​real-​quick thing. I don’t want to sound redundant of everyone else but yes, they are a bit pricey. Get over it! Go get mediocre shit at Stop and Shop then!

I lived in Dennis — I would definitely do some of my shopping here (as opposed to the Stop & Shop across the way or Trader Joe’s — which I have to trek to Hyannis for).
Ring Bros. Highlights for me include Nata’s noodles which has luscious (and yes, PRICEY) take out prepared foods. There is also a seafood market, Spinners Pizza (and burritos), a deli and lots of locally grown fresh produce.
WE got a whole roast chicken from one of the vendors and it was great — but it was $ 10.99 — OUCH! They are $ 6.99 in the grocery store — and much less on sale.)
Meanwhile, i am so glad to have discovered Ring Brothers and we’ll be back next season.
As with most stores Mid-​Cape lots of pleasant, young, pretty Bulgarian, Russian, Eastern Eurpoean gals are running the show. I’d give them 5 stars but took one off for über-​high prices.

Love this store for their gourmet and different items, but beware it does not come cheap. As any gourmet store specially in the heart of the Cape everything is pricey. The bakery items are from Montilo’s. They also have their own store brand items for dressing, BBQ sauce, pickled vegetables and other items with distinct recipes. Enjoy!

If you’re looking to buy pasta, pet food, and other packaging-​free items. This is the place to go. They sell a variety of organic and local items here, fresh seafood and deli meats, organic cheese and yes — tons and tons of wine and beer for you to peruse. This is the kind of market you need to stop in if you’re planning on taking a romantic weekend or week-​long vacation in Cape Cod. Their bakery is filled with Montillo’s cakes and delicious fresh breads. They also sell gluten free, vegan, and peanut-​free products as well. I love the way this marketplace feels. It’s a great place to go if you need to make someone a welcome home basket, or to pick out a gift of wine and cheese. I highly recommend it. It’s small, intimate and never packed with people like the Trader Joes in Hyannis.
