Had high hopes after reading the reviews but was very underwhelmed & disappointed. Owner is really nice but the food didn’t wow us at all. The lobster sauce, the chicken wings, the crab rangoons were mediocre at best BUT the«boneless ribs» were just plain pork loin with some red dye rubbed on it. dry, bland & bad. We had a taste then threw out the rest. My search continues since my fave Chinese American restauranteurs retired.

Great Chinese food. Not overly sauced like most places, but tastes really good! Better for take out than dine in. Cash only. I’ll post the menu.

I have been driving by Sing Yee for years and never thought I would eat here. My husband stopped by for some apps one night and we’re hooked. I admit it doesn’t look great, you just have to look past that. The food has always been made fresh and you can really tell. The fried rice is fluffy and delicious, definitely give it a try. The combo plates are the best deal and you can request basically whatever you want in them. My favorite is the sweet and sour chicken with the fried rice and an egg roll.

We had take out from here the other night. The egg roll was not good, perhaps not fresh? The crab Rangoon was not hot and we picked it up ten minutes after ordering it. Everything we ordered had a similar taste to it and we definitely won’t be getting takeout from there again.

BECAUSE of the reviews… I ordered a pu pu platter for 1 with my last 10 $ thought it to be a great price HOWEVER the food was disgusting! I couldn’t even get ¼ way through my lunch everything was over cooked to the point i had to throw my entire order away! I was disgusted as the appearance of the food even looked old or recooked! I am a chef by trade and have ate in a lot of places but I will never eat there again! Waste of money and made me sick to my stomach! Sad part is the guy was great and had a nice attitude. I only WISHED I had the same 4 – 5 star dining everyone else has spoke about. BLECH

I went to Sing Yee for the first time despite living in the area for 30+ years. Boy I wish I had tried them sooner!!! I ordered Peking ravioli(homemade) with the fried rice(homemade). My lunch was delicious! I bet everything here is made on site by Jack(the owner). His food has a unique flavor I have not found at ANY other Chinese rest. ever. The man takes pride in his tasty offering and it shows. On the menu it says he has been open since 1983. He must be doing something right :). I counted about 200 — that’s right 200 menu items he makes in this tiny tiny restaurant. Jack is super cool. He has sooo many aquariums stocked with countless fresh and saltwater fish/shrimp etc… that I thought he was selling them. Turns out it’s his hobby. I can’t wait to try out more of his menu items. Thank you Jack for«chefing» up AWESOME food right here in my own town!!! Oh yeah… he has DIMSUM… Mmmm… dim sum. Outstanding!!! P. S. My lunch(5 peking ravioli & fried rice) came out to $ 5. Best flavor AND lowest prices? You gotta check this place out.

Great hole in the wall place. Very small but the food they produce to me tastes different then all other Chinese I’ve had, especially the chicken fingers. The owner seems to be a great guy as well. The first time I went in he even gave me a calender.

This place really is a dive, but the food is good. Bring cash. I would also not plan on eating there… just take out.

Definitely recommend this restaurant. If you want great chinese food, made fresh to order with awesome service, this is the place to go. We moved to Easton in July, I can’t believe we JUST found this place, this will definitely be our takeout of choice. Everything we had was made to order, the chicken fried rice was awesome, General Tso’s chicken was stupendous. This is the type of place I would expect Guy Fiori to go to in an episode of Dives, Diners and Drive ins. I’m so glad I got the courage up to try this place.

This place is a tiny dive… but really good chinese food. The noodles had really clean fresh flavors. They make the food right in front of you… not that they have a choice. Big menu, with the usual chinese food items. I liked the szechwan spicy beef. Also good crab-ragoons(not over cream cheesed). Prices are slightly lower than others and they give a good amount of food.

This little place on Rte 138 is a gem. Jack(the owner/chef) is a nice man who cooks the best chinese food right in front of you. Great soups as well.

The boyfriend and I would drive by this microscopic restaurant chuckling and speculating that it must be a front for some seedy activity because NO cars were ever there. On a dare we decided to go in and grab a menu. The interior is laughable and when we showed up the lights in the kitchen where off and it was lunch hour on a Friday. The menu is fab! It’s unique compared to other area chinese food restaurants. We decided to go back and got the love letter(cheese, crab and chicken in a crispy type shell) and the pork chop suey sandwich and it was actually REALLYGOOD! Tasted fresh and cooked well and even came with a free bottle of water. We fully intend to go back and try other things on the menu(especially the lemon chicken. Yumm!) Give it a shot. :D
