RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL, NOT ETHICAL!
My car was LEGALLY parked and registered with the apartment management where I live and some driver was not paying attention to the list of registered vehicles, saw my new car and swiped it without checking their list of registered vehicles. I call to complain and find out the name of the driver who STOLE my car and got chewed out from the manager. WTF?! Investigating my legal options now, a crime was committed against me as their negligence caused me emotional distress. If they had just apologized, I could of let it go, but they gave me attitude when it was their mistake!!!

This place is straight up garbage. They impounded my car for visiting a friend for not even a hour. The neighbors knock and let me know the tow took it. No reason. This place charged me $ 300 dollars to get the car out. I’m going to the business Bureau about this, this is not the end of it

My car was wrongfully towed Thursday evening. The phone operator for Mr. C’s answering service was kind and helpful, young Alex at the window was ok– his job is to deal with angry people– Jesus, the supervisor, was patient and calm. He heard me out– which is fair– and did the right thing, released my car at no charge. Thank God!
No one wants their car to be towed, it’s very violating. Unfortunately, most of the time we are in the wrong trying to get away with breaking rules even though we know better. The circumstances of our situation were in our favor and I glad Mr. C’s did the right thing and didn’t give us a hard time about it.
Unfortunately, there was a little damage to my Honda’s front bumper, but today I’m going to talk to Mark, the man in charge, and hopefully I’ll have something great to post about that.

Ps… today is Friday, Jan.22, 2016 I went back to Mr. C’s regarding damage to my front bumper. Mark, the man in charge, was kind, friendly, and pleasant. He referred me to a body shop and covered the repair costs. Yes, all this hassle wasn’t fun at all, but it was all taken care of and no harm done.
–The only difference between a good day and a bad day is your attitude.

Not only did they tow my vehicle from my parking space but had the nerve to tell me I was parked illegally and had to pay $ 234 to get my vehicle back they had no right to take my vehicle in the first place. I tryed to get the police involved but they were no help as I saw it they stole my vehicle and wanted me to pay them to get it back when I wasn’t parked illegally i had to miss work to deal with this B. S! They were rude over the phone 6hrs later I was able to get my vehicle back at no cost to me because they fucked up you would think I would get apology but the manager Omar was a fucken prick and even threatened to have me removed off the property yeah I mit of been a bit angry with good cause i lost time and money and added stress when they drove my vehicle out the manager and the Cow behind the window were rude and unprofessional it was there fuck up and act like they did nothing wrong and can’t even man up and apologize for the bullshit they put me through

Got my car towed away from the front of my house and when I went to go see what happened they told me it was my fault. Excuse me? It’s in my property. Anyways had to pay to get my car back and all I can say is that this company is just there to get money. They basically rob you with a license. All their employees speak to you like you’re not worthy of them. Super arrogant and rude.

This is the worst towing company ever. They towed my vehicle while I had in display my parking permit on the dashboard. They towed my vehicle at 6:07pm and when I contacted them at 6:20 to pick up my vehicle, they said I had to pay $ 260.00 which was insane. I went over and had to wait 2 hours outside the gate to be able to speak to someone to pick up my vehicle. When I seen my vehicle I notice it had a huge dent in the drivers door (which was never there before) but they had reported on their towing report, that the vehicle had the dent prior to towing. They are a fraudulent business. I highly recommend staying away from them.

Mr C’s Towing are Shady as F&%K!!! They tow your car for no reason, and in the middle of the night! I parked my car in the visitor parking only because i didnt have the cliker to open the gate, but not only have I parked in that parking spot but other cars also park there and stay over night and all of a sudden they just now started towing cars. They are CROOOKS, just driving around towing cars and that’s how they are making there money! they didn’t even report it to the Law enforcement and they are suppose to. This just happened this past weekend! I had to pay $ 300 to these FAT BASTARDS. and 3 weeks prior my boyfriends car also got towed away! Idiots… SHADY, stealing peoples money!

I hate mr C. First time they tow my car they didn’t even notify the cops, and the cop told me that they had to notify them. We get to the towing place and they still didn’t have the paperwork done and my car has been towed for more than an hour. Tofay they towed it again, I live in a mobile home, I always park two cars in front. They have seen my car there parked for laat month but I guess today they decided to tske my car. Even the manager said it was okay.
Oh and did I mention that first time they towed it tbey stole my wallet and my stuff inside?
I swear if I see them again I’m going to kick them out. Don’t like this crooked place. And everyone working inside. Stupid lazy fuck!

This place is the worst business around… they make their money off of working class people that work hard to earn their paychecks. The punk behind the desk his name is Marcos or Michael… he has a big mouth over-​the-​phone but he’s a big pussy his wife tells me all the time…

Mr c towing is a piece of shit I was parked outside my house in the street walked back to my garage to pick up tools came back out to put tools in car was gone within a few minutes we had our trunk open they must of close it cost 300 to get car out within the hour such bullshit. I guess we will see them in. Court

Mr. C’s towing is an extremely dishonorable company invested in shady dealings. Customer service over the phone and in person was terrible; they are unprofessional and rude. When I asked for the tow authorization form, they claimed it to be confidential and that they were unable to provide that information. Well, according to my attorney that was a lie, state law declares that upon request of a tow authorization it must be relinquished. Obviously, there was something to hide; did they really have permission to remove the vehicle? Probable not. I suggest if you are towed by this company check for proper authorization, and if denied contest!

This place is shady as hell. Now they are randomly towing cars off the street and ur property for expired tags. I will gave them 0 start but unfortunately I cant.
Bad costumer services

Unprofessional and unethical! They do not check the vehicle prior to towing and thusly my car was towed with my dogs inside! They were left in the vehicle with the windows up for over an hour at the tow truck company and were not provided any water!!! Claimed not to see the animals prior to towing! They do not inform the police prior to towing the vehicle and because of this I thought my car had been stolen. My car was parked behind my garage at my complex and I went inside to open the garage (which makes it then legal to park where I was parked) and by the time I came out (less then 5mins) my car was gone. The individuals working at this company are heartless and cruel! I suggest looking elsewhere for your towing services and if your organization is contracted with them in anyway I would suggest fighting to change it.

Mr Cs towing impounded my car at around 2 in the morning from the parking lot of a bar for overnight parking when I went to get my car out the next day I showed the guy the pictures where I was parked and took my credit card receipt to prove that I was at the bar what happened next was the epic moment of customer service the over sized tow truck driver gets out of the office and tries to fight me in front of my girlfriend! South gate PD should definitely not give these guys work and if your using these guys for your apartment or business you should highly consider hiring a new tow truck company.

This place is shady as hell. Now they are randomly towing cars off the street and ur property for expired tags. Even when they are paid. The cops don’t want to investigate. They just want your MONEY!!! I paid $ 400. Be acute they took it on Saturday. And couldn’t take it out till Tuesday.

Hope that your car never gets towed from this place. The C stands for CROOKED!
They also kept my debit card, and had I not called back? They probably would have used it… I canceled my card before they had the chance. I should have paid attention, but since I was so upset after having to fork over $ 300 bucks to get my car back after an hour or so in their possession. That’s what I get for parking it in Lynwood…

This circus show is crooked and hilarious.
Setting: Cul-​de-​sac by my apartment on the «fire lane». We were loading up the car with laundry 12:19pm. Decided to grab a soda from the fridge and chat before we left. 12:23pm our car is missing. Sneaky toeman lol. Made extra sure he was quiet and fast with the tow.
We called the towing company and they confirmed our car was in their possession. The receptionist in a snappy attitude told us to pick it up before 5pm. We immediately secured a lift to the place and it was a 20 minute drive from where we got towed. Hmm… The only reason they would know our car was parked on the fire lane is if someone was calling it in or they were just waiting there for a tip.
We get to the place and they claim to have «professional towing» why are they’re so many tow trucks just sitting in the lot? Business must be booming outta control! We go up to the window which are tinted with make shift signs stating don’t ask for discounts, who picked up the car, etc. Receptionist barks at us asking what we wanted. Haha, cute you have to hide behind the black glass or phone to give me some attitude. We tell her our car and she mumbles $ 185. We pay. She throws our cards into the slot and tells us to sign the release and give her the keys. We wait a while cause one of her coworkers brought in food. It must be payday for them; time to ball out on Jack in the Box milkshakes.
We finally see our car rolling up. Thelonious Monk blasting and the guy bobbing his head. What do you know about jazz bruh? He sees me staring at him and quickly stops the head bobbing and looks away. Hands me the keys without making any eye contact muttering «here you go. «
Conclusion/​moral of the story: We take responsibility for parking the car on the fire lane yes but there’s something to say about ethics. It’s one thing to enforce codes and another thing to be a righteous person. These guys clearly are not out to make money by towing people who are in need. They’re out to make chump change in shady ways. A quick tow netted them 185 bucks. The guy who towed us probably knew we were trying to load up and leave but put forth extra effort to tow our car quickly so we couldn’t refute. I’ve seen people get towed before by real professionals there is a legitimate process you should follow. You access the situation, see if it’s immediate need for the tow, and when writing paperwork do so precisely and accurately. It may be upper level management forcing the workers to tow as much as possible or the shady workers looking for extra some food money. In the end they can live their pathetic, immoral, bottom feeding lifestyle. I would never compromise my way of living for some chump change. The workers know they are illegitimate in their practices. Hiding behind tinted glass, being defensive/​rude, and not making eye contact. That $ 185 is paid in advance so hopefully they can get a real career and live a wholesome life.

These guys are a bunch of idiots. My car was parked out during street sweeper day and they were dispatched to pick up the car. We tried to stop the driver before he even dropped his lift and refused to acknowledge us causing my bumper to be misaligned. Supervisor Omar showed up and with his years of autobody experience simply pushed the bumper back into place. Real amateurs, don’t be talked down and demand they treat people with respect.

I have been doing apartment maintenance for about 7 years now –I am also prior military and I also enjoy investigating everything, so believe me when I say I know my stuff and I am also very familiar with the law and compliance code because I have been informed by Los Angeles drivers whom I have worked with. Not everyone knows, but now they will. Thank You Unilocal* for being a great way for myself and other consumers to vent when it comes to awful businesses such as this!!! On my brother’s property, like many properties in Los Angeles, they’re completely out of CVC compliance code. Some businesses don’t know how to properly hang a sign, or use a measuring tape for that matter. Make sure you get pictures and print them before they go back and fix it. If you ever get your car towed from Mr. «Corrupt» Towing, make sure that signs are in compliance. What I mean by that is if they are not 7 feet high –measured from the bottom of the sign to the floor– and if they tow your car, they are opening themselves up to a liability and negligence claim in Small Claims Court where they will lose because they will not show up to court. For those who are considered low income can request a court fee waiver and not be required to make any court payments. Additionally, the size of the font on the sign should be 1 inch in height. Do you think they’re going to give you your money back? Of course they will since it will cost them more to fight you in court due to time, research, preparation and most importantly making their lazy tails get out of bed early to be at court by 8 a.m. or accept a defeat! Can you say REFUND!!! I strongly recommend anyone to take them to court if they are out of compliance if you have the means and time to do so. It’s negligence on their part. I understand that a sign is posted like the gentleman said that night, but as a matter of fact, it must be properly hung and within the regulations stated for Los Angeles. I will remove this review as soon as my brother gets his refund. I read the Donald Trump book «Think Big and Kick A – » and he says «Don’t get mad, get even» and I intend to. Guess how much money your organization will lose because of me educating my community through online reviews. Your losses are IMMEASURABLE. I do real estate property maintenance for a living and I will also be graduating with a Business Degree soon, so if your towing company decides to play hard ball, we will have a court case opened up for litigation and your team will be wasting their sweet precious time in court and for all proceedings that will follow and we will also be stating that my brother’s vehicle was stolen since it was taken unlawfully. Someone will pay until this is refunded to my brother’s credit card or you’ll pay for it while I sit in your alley and make a professionally written business flyer and hand it out as people pick up their cars. Do you think the property is going to have new holes drilled into the surrounding foundation across several blocks of property and pay for each sign that must be posted and updated since the lighting posts are insufficient heights, no! It will take at least a year, or more if they choose to do so. Project Management takes time and then implementing the change, forget about it! Furthermore, several of the signs are faded so bad due to sun bleaching that you can’t even read them at night or even during the day. The world has changed with technology and I intend to use it to my advantage. We can take money out of these crooks’ pockets and eventually put them out of business since they will have a difficult time finding the revenue for their payroll.

These Guys are the worst hands down. I have filed a complaint with the better busiess bureau. They towed two cars in error. Then they made us wait for them and never brought them back when they said they were. I keep calling and all they do is put me on hold then hang up on me. Also their drivers are rude, please join me in filing a complaint with the better business bureau so that these guys learn their lesson that they cant always get away with these unfair and horrible business practices and costumer service, please boycot!
