I really come here for small food items and self check out. Makes it quick and I don’t have to wait in line. Open til 1am; used to be open 24 hours but what can you do? Usually come here late anyway. Prices aren’t the best but what can you do? Also kind of upset they don’t carry my cold pressed sesame oil anymore. All in all good for late night groceries.

It’s hard for me to see this pathmark in this shape, this was my first job as a kid, but its slowly going under. The quality of the food, work force, and carts, its to bad, really a loss. NOMORE24HOURS!!!

I know it’s Pathmark and all Pathmarks are, or at least should be, the same. However, the handful of times I’ve walked into this Pathmark, I’ve left unsatisfied. I don’t buy food not on sale and the sales are just terrible here. Does each Pathmark have their own sales flyer??? I dont know, but I feel that is the case. There is also almost noone working the registers, only the self-checkout and maybe one other cashier. I hate self checkout –give me a real person! On the positive side, they do have a big parking lot and shares the lot with the bagel store next store, which ain’t half bad.

Went here today with $ 100 to spend on a weeks worth of groceries… needless to say I only spent $ 60 bc I just couldn’t bring myself to purchase their meat/seafood…its just gross. it looks old/unfresh. They also don’t have a huge variety either, compared to say shop rite or stop and shop which are in close proximity… Today I also discovered that they are no longer opened 24 hrs??? WTF… That is one of the main reasons I even went there that and to pay minimal prices! So that’s a no no… Today I was also introduced to a cashiers B.O., yes so aapparently this woman owns cats bc she reeked of cat piss!!! It was truly disgusting ! I couldn’t believe that no one she worked with has not said anything to the this chick ! Ugh between that, the meat and also an abundance of fruit flies around the produce, I think I will be taking my business elsewhere…

I normally go to whole foods but sometimes theres no need to go there for the basics. Even then I usually go to the local Stop & Shop only because this place looks like a dump on the outside. I didnt mind paying a little extra for a cleaner facility. But we had some coupons so we decided to check it out. I was pleasantly surprised after we walked in. I had been here before but it had been so long I didnt know what to expect. It wasnt very crowded which is great when trying to move through there quickly. It looked almost new on the inside. It was very clean and inviteing and the prices I feel are always the best. I should be back.

Bad on a lot of levels. Unpleasant customer service, often unpleasant odors and a really unpleasant atmosphere. Go elsewhere

You go here for the prices on toiletries, packaged/frozen goods, pork tenderloin/beef/ox tail/pig trotters/chorizo, crab legs/fish(when on sale), milk, eggs, deli(non specialty items) greens/lettuce/broccoli, and most household goods because the prices are low and the quality varies from decent to good. You don’t come here if you want perfect fruit, unrotten delicate produce such as onions/avocados/tomatoes, and service with a smile. We switched from shopping only at Shop Rite in Rochelle Park to Pathmark, Trader Joe’s, & Lucky Farmer’s Market, and it helped save us some money and introduce us to better quality/variety foods.

Sadly, I come here for the sales items only. It’s convenient for me to shop here because of the bagel store next door, but I gotta say that they’re having less and less cashiers to handle customers. This really ticked me off as I wait on really long lines of customers with shopping carts full of groceries. To make matters worse, their express lines are even longer!!! They have a total of 3 cashiers working at 9PM and the 4 self-serving express lanes, which I don’t use because their scanners are horrible. What a joke that corporate is playing. These corporate guys should really be buried alive up to their necks for us to stone their faces in. After experiencing their declining service over the past several months, I decided to shop at Shop Rite instead. They have over 10 cashiers to check your groceries out. Now, that’s customer service!

Did you know that Pathmark is no longer open 24-hours? What’s the point of shopping here now? Oh yeah, they’re the low price leader. But that low price does come at a cost. Think of Pathmark as the freshman team of supermarkets. Stop & Shop would be the varsity and Shop-Rite is the JV unit. The rankings are based on store cleanliness, quality of shopping carts, availability/friendliness of associates, and indoor/outdoor lightning. I can’t believe they changed their hours! The one thing that really made them convenient is now no longer. Stop & Shop it is…
