Johnny’s Bar and Grill

Plenty of seating, and classy place. Ordered a crispy fish sandwich and sweet potato fries– plentiful, delicious, and fresh. It was a nice quiet place (there weren’t too many people) for lunch and definitely a great rest stop on my travels. Located in the Village Commons, there’s lots to scope out in the area.

We went this afternoon place was not real busy and ordered 2 burgers. We waited and finally told us ticket got lost. Waitress says I’ll talk to manger see if they will do anything. We get the check nothing taken off so we ask she comes back and says we can offer you a desert. if I wanted one I would have ordered one. Burger was disappointing and manger never came over to apologize. Off out list.

Service was very good. I will give them that. The food was not up to the price paid. Not even sure what I paid but whatever it was was too much.

Korean tacos were so spicy we couldn’t eat them and waitress embarrassed us by refusing to take it back. Manager then lectured us that she would give us a 50 percent discount but wouldn’t take it off the bill. Beer was flat. Service was incredibly slow. Stay away!

Gave them another shot over the weekend and oh boy! Even worse than the first time.
Walked in with the in-​laws and waited over 10 mins for someone to acknowledge us. Do they even have a hostess? What’s the deal with that?
I ordered a burger and it was so undercooked that I couldnt eat it. I mean it was RAW, blood on my plate raw. I asked for it medium, so beware if you order a burger from here! My mother-​in-​law expressed concern in us eating it because it was so red.
Salad was just as bad as last time, and I asked for dressing on the side because my last salad was sent back over the amount of dressing. Did it come with dressing on it? Of course it did!
I felt absolutely horrible after eating here, and I only had a few bites of a burger and salad. Very hard things to screw up– here, I thought I was playing it on the safe side!
2 really bad experiences is enough for me.

We arrived and there were empty tables in sight. We were told there would be a 20 – 30 minute wait. Okay, that’s fine. After 5 minutes, they seat us at one of the empty tables we saw. Our server was attentive but not particularly friendly. I ordered the nachos due to not seeing many vegetarian friendly items on the menu, my friend got a wrap with sweet potato fries. My nachos were SO salty! I could barely eat them. The sweet potato fries were really good, I’ll give them that. But for mediocre service and barely edible nachos… 2 stars.
