Sweet Peas Tailoring

Very disappointed with the service here. Brought a bridesmaid dress in to be altered (needed cups put in and length shortened) and was told that I didn’t need cups, just needed the length adjusted at the waist. I’m not a seamstress so I said ok. Came back a week later and tried it on and it still didn’t look right but I took it home thinking I could make it work with the right bra. Eventually went back to ask for additional adjustments. Basically she had hiked the dress up too high so it looked funny. She made some other minor change but the dress still didn’t fit right. I told her I wasn’t pleased and she was not at all apologetic, nor did she offer a discount or money back. She said, «well, maybe it’s just not your favorite dress.» Anyway I ended up at another seamstress who had better prices and could see right away what needed to be done. I should have known something was amiss when she called it an «umpire» waist.
