History

Established in 2006.

The owner of Haven Heating (Jack Heron) started his own heating business after working for the heating division of a large propane company. Jack felt that such a large company lacked the customer interaction and care that you get with a local contractor. Knowing some changes were coming that would have a negative effect on the heating division Jack decided to start Haven Heating and Air Conditioning. Three of his co-​workers also decided to leave and work with him and the four of them have worked together ever since. In 2010 Jack hired an additional Service Technician that worked with him at the former company. The previous company they all worked for was sold shortly after they left and the heating division was closed proving further that if you don’t care for or take care of your customers they won’t care for or take care of you.

I started in the heating and cooling business as an installer in 1980. I eventually left to take a factory job were I ended up as a Quality Control Supervisor for 5 years. I liked working outside and doing something different every day. I came back to the heating and cooling trades in 1993 after a relative convinced me to work for him. In 2006 I decided to start Haven Heating and Air Conditioning were I could use my experience not only in furnace and air conditioning service but also my quality control background. My goal is to have a company that offers its customers high quality service and installations at a reasonable price. And to be a company our employees like to come to everyday. If the employees are happy that transcends right into the job that they perform for our customers.
