The staff at Lake Front Weddings & Events were outstanding! I had the pleasure of working closely with Lindsey and sincerely am so grateful for getting to know this lovely woman, and having her plan the wedding of our dreams. I am an event planner for a large company in the Bay Area and she blew me out of the water! After showing us the venue a few times, she made sure to get me in contact with the vendors involved on our future wedding day. She made the appointments for us to meet everyone in one visit to Tahoe, and every single vendor was perfect. Our flowers, DJ, photographer, the minister, the cake– everyone and everything was fantastic. And the FOOD! Who likes wedding food typically? Not many people… our food was delicious and people were getting up for seconds.
If you are looking to get married in S. Lake Tahoe, I highly recommend using LFWE. Lindsey and her team took so much off my plate that I didn’t have to worry about a thing. The day of was truly magical, and best of all, my groom and I got to enjoy it because of the beautiful work LFWE put forth. I wish I could go back and experience this day all over again. I never actually used this company because when I drove up for a consultation I was treated so rudely I left. We had a noon appointment. Stacey did not bother to great us, tell us her name or show any interest in what we were planning

Thank you to Everyone at Lake Front Weddings & Events for helping me have the most memorable and perfect wedding at the Meadow Lake House!!! We appreciate all that you did for us. They took care of all my needs and then some. They told me not to worry about Anything, the only thing I had to do was show up. They were more then true to their word! They kept in constant contact with me and asked if I needed or wanted anything else to make sure my day was special. I couldn’t ask for anything more then what they did! So in return for all that they did, we brought the snow ;) (inside joke) If you’re looking for a fairytale wedding like mine, look no further, you found the Very Best at what they do!!!

Our experience was fantastic. There is no way we could have pulled off our wedding they way Lindsey and the gang did. We are grateful to them for making our wedding so enjoyable. They did everything. We just showed and got married. No stress on the planning side.

This review is not for their wedding planning or events. It is for their shop and the goods they sell there.
It’s a great shop in Heavenly Village. They have beautiful artwork and a gorgeous store. They have a large number of those plaques with hilarious or sentimental sayings /​quotes.
Some of my favorite art in the store was Lake Tahoe themed etched wood. It would be perfect décor for locals and tourists alike. I was inspired by all of it and wished I could have brought several pieces home with me. The price point was high but not unjustified given the caliber of the crafts.
Definitely stop by, at least to gaze at the wonderful offerings, if you are in the Village.

We stopped in to speak to someone about planning our wedding. The lady we spoke to seemed great and to fully understand our wants and budget. She said she’d get back to us that day, but she didn’t. We don’t live in the area and we’re excited to have someone be able to plan everything for us. It has been over a month and we’ve still received no communication. Both of us just feel extremely let down.

Lake Front Wedding & Events did a spectacular job coordinating our wedding on top of Heavenly Mountain at the brand new Heavenly Wedding Platform. Stacy & Keely were a joy to work with. Everyone that attended our wedding just raved about the event and said it was one of the best weddings they had ever been to. The catering (food, drinks, & service) was excellent! The views were breath taking and a perfect backdrop for our wedding pictures. The vendors they used for the photography (Leslie Timmerman), florist (Thrans), cake (Don Cakes), and the minister (Dave Beronio) were all excellent. David simply did an outstanding job performing our ceremony, Leslie was a talented photographer, the flowers were stunning, and the cake looked/​tasted divine! Everything was top notch and exceeded our expectations! They all helped make our day memorable and perfect!

the worst customer service that i have received in a long time. not only i cant get a hold of anyone to talk to but when i get a human on a line, im being told they will call me back in 30mins, over 3 hrs later no call, so i called back and was told that they are supper busy. this has been going on for over a week.

They have the cutest bridal store in Heavenly. I found them by walking through all the stores and I thought all they did was offer wedding consultant services. I was curious so I went in… they have the cutest items in the shop. There were favors, wedding decorations, a few wedding knick knacks, centerpieces, etcetera. They were all so cheap but made pretty good. I couldn’t get enough of the items. Although, we were getting married in Sacramento, CA. I was able to buy a few items and received a few good ideas from the store and by speaking to the bridal consultant-​Jana. Jana and her staff were friendly and easy to speak to. I recommend this shop to everyone. Too bad I wasn’t getting married in Lake Tahoe or I would’ve hired the gals for my wedding.

My husband and I ran into Lakefront Wedding and Events when we were in town visiting friends in August 2012, and they highly recommended if it were in our budget to get married at Edgewood! Boy were they right when we saw the venue we knew it was for us! Stacy and the whole team at Lakefront was amazing with always responding to my frantic and crazy emails. If we were to ever get married again with a large wedding we would definitely use them again! Thanks Stacy and team!

I cannot thank Lake Front Weddings enough! We had our wedding in June and it was perfect! We had a great wedding at a lovely location with an amazing reception and stayed within our (modest) budget! The ceremony itself was perfect and went very smoothly, with lots of help from Hillary. I had never planned a wedding before and had no idea what I was doing, but Stacey helped A LOT. They provide you with all the resources you need and I loved that the price included photography! Thank you so much, Lake Front Weddings!!!

I recently got in touch with Lake Front Weddings & Events and they are wonderful. So nice and very helpful. First I spoke with Jana over the phone and she took the time to ask me lots of questions about what I was looking for and my budget. She gave me info and I made an appointment to meet with them.
My appointment was with Stacy who was also very sweet, listened to everything I had to say, asked lots of questions and gave me info. She wrote up two quotes on the spot (one for a simple wedding and one for a more expensive affair). And then she took my mom and I to one of the sites.
We haven’t set a date so unfortunately I haven’t sealed the deal with them but I will definitely use their services. What you get in services versus what you pay for is a very good value.
Lake Front Weddings & Events is the best choice is you want your planning simplified and not have to make a ton of choices.

My husband and I just got married through Lake Front Weddings 3 weeks ago! It was such a smooth and easy experience.
We live out of town in Sacramento so 90% of planning was done via email or phone. I mostly worked with Stacy; she is great very very helpful and very nice.
I have nothing bad to say about Lake Front, they literally took care of EVERYTHING! Both ceremony and reception venues which were at Reagan Beach and Pichetti Winery, caterer, flowers, Dj, minister, cake, set up and clean up! I could go on and on. Everything was AMAZING. My friends and family had such an great time! Thank you Lake Front for making our wedding experience such a good one! :)

We got married here a few years back, and the value was fantastic. I’ve been to other chapels in the area (and other chapels elsewhere) and this was much nicer. The building was nice and put together, the view of the lake was fantastic, and to get the whole package at such a great price was almost unheard of. I personally liked that the officiant didn’t drag on, I’ve been to many weddings where you listen to some person ramble on for hours, didn’t really want that at my own wedding. There was a slight rush to cram all the events in (photos, the ceremony, etc), but to be honest I thought it went rather smooth and didn’t feel rudely rushed.
The cake was excellent, the champagne was good as well. The photos were pretty good, but then again the entire ceremony costs almost as much as hiring a true pro photographer alone would cost anyways! (hint: a good wedding photographer averages a couple grand). The photographer had a good eye and some formal training, but I imagine the photographer may have changed since then.
We were married on Christmas Eve, and it was a beautiful day that had snowed the day prior but was nice and sunny. Since it’s inside, I imagine any weather would be acceptable, but it was nice to take some outdoor photos as well.
Obviously this may not be the dream destination for those who have a wedding scrapbook they’ve planned since childhood, but I personally feel this place had the best of all worlds. A great view, nice formal area, good staff, and all the hassles that could otherwise ruin your experience are all taken care of.

By far the greatest staff and wedding experience EVER. After giving up on having our big Texas wedding this was our first and only call. I could not be happier with how perfect and flawless everything was! I could not ask for a better time or better people to plan a wedding. They are always willing to help and more than accommodating to your dreams and desires!

My Husband and I got married in September 2012 at Edgewood Golf Course and booked our wedding through Lake Front Weddings & Events. We Worked with Lake Front Events for about a year planning our wedding and worked mostly with Stacy, she was AMAZING!!! Everyone we encountered from lake Front was very professional and helpful. The wedding planning process was so smooth, Stacy always emailed me back promptly and was friendly and more than helpful every time. The vendors that Lake Front suggested were wonderful. We used Cakes by Grace for our wedding cake, Edgewood for our venue, Big sound DJ, and Thran’s flowers.
We live in the bay area so we did do most planning via phone and email and for it to go as smoothly as it did is saying a lot. The day of our wedding went smoother than we could have ever imagined. We had a 10am wedding on Edgewood’s north terrace followed by reception in the North room. The décor was perfect, the venue was perfect, food amazing, flow of the wedding perfect, I mean I really have nothing negative to say at all. We would do it all the same time and time again. I would recommend Lake Front Wedding and Events to my best friend and to you too. :)

Lakefront Weddings was exactly what I was looking for in a destination wedding planning service. They treated us with respect, dignity, and seemed to share a genuine excitement about our big day. I had to search far and wide to find an elegant, non-​stressful wedding ceremony that appealed to both me and my new husband. Many of the other places I interviewed in South Lake Tahoe were very disappointing, but Stacy and her team at Lakefront seemed to know exactly what we wanted.
Our wedding turned out to be picture-​perfect, and the ceremony itself went off without a hitch. Even the location exceeded our expectations! I was horrified the morning of the wedding when I saw the construction going on directly in the background of the wedding location on Regan Beach. I was sure that this would have destroyed the pictures, making them virtually useless if we weren’t facing the lake. To my pleasant surprise the LW team member coordinating the big day called off the construction workers and asked them to take a break while we were getting married — — I couldn’t have asked for more!
Our pictures were ready before we left the city too, only 2 days following the ceremony, so another pleasant surprise. I should also mention that we had a special request that our minister be a man, due to our religious preferences, and they were very accommodating.
If you’re thinking about having an outdoor wedding in Lake Tahoe and want to do it with class, I would highly recommend Lakefront Wedding Chapel. They covered every last detail, and made our wedding day the best it could have been!

For the most part, this was a great place! Loved the area, it was like a destination wedding. Everything was included, which made it easier. Chapel, venue for reception, catering and etc. My only complaints are were the quality of the photographs and being rushed through the photos and being rushed throughout the reception. All of our photos were of us and one or two people, and a lot of our guests and friends were not included in the photos and they also seemed very «stiff» and unnatural, as if the photographer was an amateur. They took all of 15 minutes to rush us through the photos before the reception and at the actual reception, it was so rushed, that we weren’t actually able to sit down and eat. I know they were busy coordinating a second wedding at the same time, but if you cannot devote the best of your ability to someone’s special day, they definitely shouldn’t have two weddings going on at once!

I attended a wedding here this weekend, and it was perfect for the intimate and elegant feel the bride and groom were looking for.
The atmosphere is really quite stunning. The room we were in had floor to ceiling windows which overlooked the gorgeous lake. The room was filled with flower arrangements (upon closer inspection I think they were silk flowers, but looked real enough to me) and the walls were tastefully decorated with some modern silver metal art and some mirrors.
The chairs were comfortable, had white cushions and clear plastic backs… artsy looking chairs and the clear backs make the room look more spacious.
The ceremony was really sweet and the space was just right. My only concern is to ensure that your photographer can take good pictures despite the amount of bright natural light that comes in through the windows. Myself as a non-​photographer had some challenges taking pictures with the amount of light. I’m sure any professional photographer can master this challenge easily, but it doesn’t hurt to make sure.
The newly married couple had a cake and champagne reception right there in the same room, which was really convenient. The room also had a fairly long balcony over-​looking the lake which was a nice feature to enjoy as we sipped on our champagne.
I have two comments on improvements which this chapel could make:
1. Place a sign on the lakeside that says «Wedding in Progress. Quiet Please». During the last couple minutes of the ceremony, a family and their puppy were traipsing through the snowy area in between the chapel and the lake and making quite a bit of noise (not inappropriate normally, but because a wedding was in progress so it was inappropriate)… I doubt the family and puppy knew a wedding was in progress and they were just having a good time in the snow. I was sitting right by the window and that is why I noticed… I’m hoping the rest of the guests, but most especially the bride and groom did not notice. However, I feel like this situation could have been avoided with some simple signs.
2. The champagne was poured in another room and then brought into the ceremony/​reception room. There were two staff members bringing the glasses in 3 – 4 at a time. Personally, I think it would have been most efficient to have all the champagne glasses arranged on the table in the reception room before the ceremony, and then pour the champagne right there in the room for all the guests. Again, it did not bother me to wait for a few minutes for my glass as we were all busy congratulating the happy couple and mingling with our family, but I do think this is something that can easily be improved and make the day that much smoother and easier for the bride, groom and guests.
Back to the good things:
The parking lot was spacious and the elevator was convenient for older guests, ladies in heels and strollers. The bathrooms were clean and conveniently located.
Besides this being at a beautiful spot on the lake, it was conveniently located to hotels and the casinos (after party for your guests!!). We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express, which was around the corner, spacious and nicely remodeled. Look for my Unilocal review about it!
All in all, I felt like the staff at this chapel really knew what they were doing, provided a lovely space and that anyone looking to have a small but elegant wedding will be happy to do so here.

My husband and I got married at Lakefront on Oct 3^rd, 2009. We had an outdoor ceremony with roughly 50 guest and a full sit down reception upstairs following. The staff was very helpful with all the planning and went above and beyond any of my needs. Everything went absolutely perfect and was everything that I had dreamed. Less then 1 month after our wedding we received our photos and DVD which brought our entire family to tears. I highly recommend lakefront to anyone looking for a stress free inexpensive wedding set in beautiful Lake Tahoe. Thank You Again to all the the staff at Lakefront & a special thanks to Stacey for helping me and crazy mom through my big day.
