The Lake Tahoe Humane Society& SPCA is a non-​profit that promotes sentiments of humanity & gentleness towards domestic and other animals, to protect their health & safety via education, advocacy & humane ethics. We offer a low cost Spay/​Neuter program, Emergency Veterinary care assistance, have pet food available for those suffering from financial hard ship, provide emergency sheltering of animals during a disaster with our D.A.R.T (Disaster Animal Response Team) program and offer many educational programs for the community.

History

Established in 1967.

The Lake Tahoe Humane Society & SPCA has been serving the residents and visitors of Lake Tahoe for almost 50 years.
