Since Can-​Am Spyders are classified as three wheel vehicles no motorcycle license is required to operate them within the state of California. Each Spyder comes equipped with a clutchless semi-​automatic transmission, reverse, anti-​lock brakes, traction control, power-​steering, an advanced Vehicle Stability System, seating for two, and a 998 V-​Twin engine. The Spyder is unlike any other vehicle on the road. It’s distinctive footprint and trademark stance doesn’t just make it more striking; it gives it more stability making it easy for just about anyone to ride. We can’t think of a better way to explore Lake Tahoe. Rentals start at just $ 149 for 4 hours.

Lake Tahoe Spyder Rentals was founded in June of 2013. Since no motorcycle license is required to operate Can-​Am Spyders in California we saw a opportunity to offer locals, tourists, motorcycle enthusiasts, and adventure seekers the ultimate Lake Tahoe touring experience.

I am a motorcycle enthusiast, and am very passionate about Lake Tahoe. I have been riding motorcycles for over 30 years now. I love to travel, and I love to share my adventures with others. I have been exploring Lake Tahoe since 1963 when my parents built our first cabin here. I have never tired of this incredible place! I honestly feel that riding a SPYDER around the Tahoe Basin is the best experience you can have here.
