Meet the Business Owner
Keith S.
Business Owner
Keith has nearly 40 years of restaurant and catering experience, mostly in the UK. Graduating from the London College of Hotel and Catering 1973 – 1975 and working as a chef in London restaurants, Keith’s experience elevated him in 1985 to cater for the British Royal family and heads of the British Government for a period of 10 years. During this prestigious time he was also responsible for many large catering events for companies such as Bell Textron, Lockheed Martin and Raytheon.
Since moving to the USA in 1996, Keith has owned and operated 3 successful restaurants and a catering company in California, which he sold in 2006. Keith has consulted for numerous restaurant owner/operators, improving their cost controls and achieving better market exposure.
Murphy’s in Lake Tahoe is his home now and he welcomes all customers to an authentic European experience, with a menu and drinks found in many Pubs across the pond.
