History

Established in 1959.

Tahoe Bowl was established in 1959 and has always been operated as a bowling alley. We have recently remodeled and have put in new lanes.

It was cute and fun. Great snacks and my girl and I had a blast. Very classic family vibe to the place with a cool arcade set up. Reminded me of that disney movie «Alley Cats» =p

This place was HORRIBLE! RUDE, DISRESPECTFUL, JUST PLAN HORRIBLE! The staff watched us like we where doing something wrong the whole time.

Great fun for the family. Bonus tip: Try the pesto chips and cheese calzone. Very tasty. (One suggestion to management: Buy a couple more six pound orange balls for the families with youngsters.)

We haven’t bowled in probably 10 yrs so this was really fun! Don’t go on league nights– no lanes open until late. But otherwise, good experience, helpful staff, fairly clean, lots of parking.

My boyfriend and I went bowling Saturday afternoon and had a great time! We’ve lived in South Lake Tahoe for almost a year and have been meaning to get to the bowling alley. We finally went and it was a blast. Jared helped us and he was super efficient and friendly! It was nice to see such enthusiasm! We will def be back and probably join a league! :)

Kids and I had a great time. All but one of the attendants was friendly and helpful (one guy acted like he wanted to be elsewhere). Lanes were clean and in good repair, as were the shoes. Will visit again when we are next in Tahoe!

We had ok time bowling but for the most part had a lot of issues. The machine kept on having a hard time getting my ball back. The alleys were quite cramped, and there was nowhere for us to eat our food. Someone walked away with our drink. And the guy working at the food court seem like you didn’t want to be there. I thought it a bit of a bad attitude.

THEY ARE IN THE CHILD DISAPPOINTMENT BUSINESS. Very disorganized front desk. Was told an hour to 90 minute wait and to come back. We came back in an hour and were told that they had called our name and now they couldn’t do anything for us. There were now 17 families in front of us.

We were in town for the holidays (New Year’s) and we like arcade style setting (for my kid) but all the arcade games were inside casino and we did not want to go to casino. The next option was bowling, my wife loves bowling so we went to this place.
This place was a bit crowded and we still were lucky to get in on one of the lanes (right time right place I guess). This place is kid/​family friendly (we saw a lot) pretty clean with well maintained bowling lanes. We had a blast…
We had a group right next to our who were pretty cool, friendly fun guys who cheered for my kid (her first time to a bowling alley) it was a great experience she was balling on her first try… she nearly beat us both…
This is a fun, family friendly place with friendly staff that has bowling, pool tables and a few arcade games.
Oh it has a decent sized bar and of course a restaurant (Pizza we had was not bad at all)…

Nice old school bowling alley, nothing extraordinary here but the customer service was excellent. Sunday drinks specials are really great, $ 4 mimosas is a great way to keep me coming back!

The guys working the front desk were very helpful. They moved patrons in and out of the place to prevent loitering and getting new bowlers started timely. They also cleared jams and resolved scoring system issues promptly considering they were short-​handed and super busy. Will be visiting again the next time we’re in town.

It’s probably the only family friendly place in Tahoe after dark. Me and my wife walked to it from our hotel because we were bored. We had a drink and the bar and played pool, air hockey, and the video games. We didn’t bowl, but the lanes looked nice. The staff was friendly and the bartender was nice.

Just about the only family fun center in town besides the arcades at the casinos. Fun place to bowl. Pretty friendly and helpful staff. They also have a bar and a separate little pizza parlor which has pretty good pizza. Check it out for some fun in Tahoe.

My bf and I have the «Local» pass here. It gets you a buck or two off which is nice, as the pricing is a bit high (but as the only alley in town what do you expect from a business?) It’s always chill, the staff is helpful and nice. The pizza is awesome here and the bar has good selection. Generally pretty clean. We always like our games here!

Had a 4 yr old bday party for my daughter and we thought it was terrific. We had a lane, pizza and a pitcher of soda for $ 80. A little expensive but it saved my house from destruction.
The lane was adequate for 8 kids and the large pizza fed everyone.
There are video games and pool to keep the kids occupied also.
The level of noise is sufficient to drown out the babble of 4 year olds and there we’re adult beverages available to numb the chaos.
