Lydia was introduced to body work at the age of 20 and knew at that moment it was her calling. She has been practicing massage and Reiki (energy work) since 1999. Lydia specializes in deep tissue, relaxation and Reiki. Lydia’s services and products are all about reenergizing your body, mind and spirit. She offers a unique blend of natural products and services which are customized for each clients concerns and needs. Whether its deep tissue or relaxation you are in good hands. You HAVE to check out Zen massage. Lydia is absolutely THE BEST! At what she does. When you walk in she is personable and very welcoming and almost right away you start to relax. The massage room is quiet, warm, and smells wonderful. I have had other massages but there really is no comparison to Lydia. There is hands down no other place in Tahoe.!! I also want to point out that she wants to make sure that she is working on your problem spots and she takes the time to make sure the massage is what you want. I would definitely recommend Lydia and believe me I have! Too many people. Once you have one of her massages and she has many to choose from believe me you will be hooked as well! I just want to say THANK YOU for being such an awesome masseuse and friend! I firmly believe you will never have a better massage in Tahoe, and you will recommend your friends as well! I also wanted to point out Lydia is very accommodating to your booking schedule! I also would like to say that I was having one hour massages each time and then decided I had a little more time and tried the one and a half hour massage and once you have tried that you will never go back to the one hour. That half hour makes a ton of difference. Thank you Lydia you are awesome!

I experienced the absolute best, soothing massage from Lydia at her tranquil & impeccably clean studio when I visited South Lake Tahoe. The atmosphere was only outdone by Lydia’s skillful hands. She just «knew» where my problem areas were & drew all the stress & pain away from me. It was an incredible experience. I highly recommend Lydia & her «Zen Within Massage Studio».

Lydia is amazing! I am someone that likes a little lighter of a touch with my massages and all I had to do was let Lydia know at the beginning and I never had to ask her again to lighten up. Lydia has also helped me fix a sinus infection with a face massage. She works magic with her hands! I would highly recommend Lydia to anyone and everyone.

I love Lydia’s massages! I’ve been going to her for years now. I have always had regular massages throughout the years due to work pain. She gives the best deep tissue by far in Tahoe!!! She can do all types but that’s what I like/​need! No one can ever get in the muscle deep enough except for Lydia. All I can say is that if that is what you need, she will defiantly work out those knots and you leave feeling like a new person!!!

Lydia is a very skilled and gifted massage therapist and a soothing person to receive bodywork from. You can really tell she went to a good school, knows the body, and has a strong sense for the craft. I have seen her many times and am never disappointed, only so totally relaxed and recharged. I like a good, strong deep tissue massage with a lot of trigger point with focus on tight areas. Lydia always exceeds my expectations and then some. I adore her myofascial release techniques! I highly recommend her!

Zen Within is very Tranquil, I always feel very comfortable and it is always clean and the experience is totally relaxing. My husband and I love getting massages with Lydia. Deep tissue is amazing. I hold stress in my neck and my husband does in his back both equating to major pain and knots… We only go to Zen Within… I highly recommend to all my friends and clients.

I’m healed!!! If your in Tahoe & need a deep tissue massage, Lydia is the best! She is very skilled massage therapist & really fixed my problem areas. My neck & shoulders have never felt so great! The whole experience was amazing. The massage studio smells so good & the vibe is so relaxing– a pretty fountain, filled with candles & a super cozy heated bed! Truly the best massage experience I’ve ever had! Next time I’m in Tahoe I’ll be back!!!

I am pretty picky with my massages but was definitely pleasantly surprised when I went to try the Zen Within studio. I was having a persistent tightness and cracking in both my neck and lower back. Lydia did an incredible job of really getting deep into the aggravated areas, relieving tension, and ultimately helping my back ease into alignment while totally giving me one of the most relaxing hours I’ve had in a long time. I would totally recommend her to anyone that is looking for experienced skilled hands who is fluent in deep tissue, shiatsu, and a range of styles and is looking to be taken away to your happy place.
