These guys are great! I called around to several places to get prices and everyone was the same price. When I called this place the owner was very passionate and detailed about the work they were going to do.
They include an inspection with every tank cleaning. One of the places I called, who quoted me the same price, said they don’t do inspections because they also do system repairs, and that would be a conflict of interest. What?! That’s like taking your car to the shop for an oil change and being told they don’t do safety inspections because they also do repairs! That is absurd! I guess the other place wants your system to start backing-​up into your house before you get it checked. But back to D&J.
They are a father and son business from what I can tell and they’re extremely polite. The son came out to my house and took the extra effort to double-​check that my tank actually needed to be cleaned before he went ahead with the planned service (I didn’t know the last time it had been done since we purchased the house last year as a foreclosure). As it turned out it was well past the point it should have been done, so I’m glad they were able to come out so quickly.
He gave me some maintenance tips to help extend the life of my drain field, and cleaned-​up my corroded tank cap so it would actually seal (whoops, I should have taken care of that a year ago).
Great job guys, I’ll see you again in three years!
