The Well Heeled Dog, located in Miami, Florida provides custom-​tailored training services that improve the quality of life for you and your best friend. We’re there to help you when you bring that new puppy home, through adolescence and into adulthood.

Sometimes people don’t think to call a trainer until the dog is older and displaying unwanted behaviors and we’ll help with that too. It’s never too late to show your dog a better way to behave.

The Well Heeled Dog offers services including, Puppy Safety and Manners, Basic and Advanced Obedience, Troubleshooting Problem Behaviors such leash pulling & jumping, digging, chewing, biting, accidents in the home and more. As long as you’re willing to make some changes, your dog will too!

Established in 2008.

Matt Smith opened The Well Heeled Dog in 2008 to share his simple and straightforward training methodologies with the dogs of Miami and the people who love them.
