I’ve been going to Dr. Hodge since I was 16, I am not your average dental patient so I know his full spectrum of capabilities. I finally realised that I had to give him a Unilocal review.
I’ve had veneers since I was 10, Dr. Hodge gave me a new set when I was 16, I thought my first set at 10 looked natural, but they were nothing compared to the amazing set Dr. Hodge gave me! Having a drilling sound in your mouth is not really fun for anyone, even the experienced patient like me, but Dr. Hodge and his assistants always put me at ease. He is sensitive and takes notice to if you flinch, today I felt a little sensitivity and he noticed my hand squeeze, he stopped and asked if I needed more numbing cream, we put more and then I was totally fine. He puts the patient’s care and health over anything, if I were to want something drastic just for aesthetics he would explain to me that it might not be so necessary. He always takes the time to explain things very well. I also have confidence in his assistants, they have shown that they have knowledge of the tools etc. Making the whole operation smooth and organised. Having known Dr. Hodge for 10 years he is most definitely my kindest doctor and he is pretty funny, okay my funniest doctor. I also love that at the end I get a free bag including a toothbrush, small toothpaste and floss, simply a really nice gesture! I have chipped my veneers by accident and they are always able to fit me in within a few days depending on how bad the chip is! If his appointments are booked further that’s because he’s an amazing dentist and his patients love seeing him, so he’s worth the wait!!!

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Hodge since I was 8 (i’m in my 4^th decade now). It is true what the other reviewers say. PAIN FREE! PAIN FREE for the dental anxious is worth EVERY CENT in my book. I hadn’t seen him in over 10 years because I moved to Santa Monica. My then 9 year old son chipped his front tooth falling off of his scooter. Freaking out I called Dr. Hodge’s office because I didn’t trust anyone else. I explained my situation and can you believe they gave me his cell phone number AND he came in the next day which was his day off! It just doesn’t get better than this. It really doesn’t. He is the BEST dentist with an amazing sense of humor. I would give him 10 stars if I could. The No Insurance thing is a bit of a drag, but truthfully, he doesn’t need to take it! The man is BOOKED! Pain Free. no judgement. great sense of humor. amazing dental work, which will last you a lifetime.. no one compares!

I am anxious at the dentist. However Dr. Hodge is very comforting and walks me through the process putting me at ease. You are in out of the dentist before you know it. The staff are very sweet and accommodating adding to the positive environment and experience. You don’t feel like you are a patient, they treat you like you are a close friend. If you dislike going to the dentist as much as I do, you should try Dr. Hodge he is a veteran with many years of experience.

dr. hodge & staff are family. good people & great dentistry. dr. hodge is a perfectionist & he’ll do right by you. i’ve been a patient for almost 10 years now & would not trust my teeth to any other.

I used to live in the Los Angeles area up until 2001 and was a patient of Dr. Hodge since I was 3 years old! If I did not live so far, I would still be going to him for his skilled work, personable staff and gentle nature. I wish I had a dentist in my area that I trusted so much! I highly recommend this dentist and his office!

Great service and people. I went in with emergency tooth infection on a Friday and they saw me right away. They gave me meds for the infection and numbed my gums to relieve the pain. They even called on the weekend to see how I was doing! That is great service! Both Dr. Hodges and Chris are great. I highly recommend them being able to handle my fright of being at the dentist. They are very gentle and keep yoy posted step by step.

It has been just over 1 year now that I’ve been coming to Dr. Hodge’s office and never before have I been excited to go to the dentist! He makes shots and drilling pain-​free. Dr. Hodge and his staff make you feel so welcomed!

The best cleaning you can get. I choose this place over anywhere I can go through my insurance. Years ago, I had all my childhood fillings replaced in one sitting here and I fell asleep in the middle of it, thanks to a mouth shield that prevented any fluid from reaching my throat. When I awoke, I was almost done.

Jim has been working on my teeth since I was a kid…
and pretty much everyone I know goes to him.
PAIN FREE people. PAIN FREE.
He has a sense of humor… and when that dreaded needle filled with novacaine approaches your all-​too-​sensitive gum line… he makes sure it doesn’t hurt. If you even feel a TWINGE he’ll move it. and make sure you feel NOTHING.
For cleanings… ask for Kris. She’s fantastic. Gentle and thorough.
