Me and my wife eat/order here all the time. It’s perfect pizza that’s hard to come by in la.

Have you been to New York? When you walk into Nonnas(Grammas in Italian) you get the time machine to transport you there. There is nothing like having Pizza and other dishes made by an Italian from Brooklyn! Treat yourself to a real east coast Pizzeria experience and come in for pizza, pasta and awesome meatball sandwiches. The salads are the real deal too. My buddy from Jersey walked in and asked for a slice and a coke… he told me it was like flying home. So many other east coast visitors say the same thing. So, when you want authentic, come see your Nonna, an fugedabout Papa Johns, mammas an tomato pie,(yuck).

We decided to cheat last Sunday and order a pizza to delivery. They were super nice taking our order since they closed 30 minutes after our call. We went for the meatlovers pizza(Around $ 24). The guy was really nice. The only thing I missed was the red pepper and the Parmesan cheese to put over the pizza. I guess they forgot because it was late. I’ll try this place again for sure!

YES so good! I like the veggie one with artichokes. Meat lover one is ok, but not nearly as tasty as the veggie. Crust is crispy and delicious. Get a whole pizza fresh cuz it’ll taste way better. Definitely satisfies the pizza cravings when they hit(which is … always?) Reviews seem so mixed for calling in orders /delivery that I’ve only ordered in person, and so far I haven’t been disappointed yet!

The Nonna’s Special Pizza is so good we go out of our way to get it. Very authentic. We’re from the Northeast(the land of Pepe’s Pizza in New Haven and other superior pizza places in the NY/CT area and we find Nonna’s to be the closest to back home pizza.

My daughter wanted to order plain pasta with butter. They told me they cannot do this, and instead I would have to get an entire order of spaghetti. I said that’s fine, but please separate the sauce from the pasta. They told me OKBUT they would have to charge me for the extra container for the sauce! WTF??? Never again will I come back to this ridiculous business!!! Crazy rude people and the worst customer service ever!!!

I have NEVER complained… However, I just ordered from Nonna’s and am disappointed. When I ordered, the woman who answered had a terrible attitude. I ordered a pizza and was asked«are you sure you wanna order, it’s an hour wait…». I said I was sure and that was not a problem. The pizza came after an hour and a half. Not only did the delivery guy park in my driveway, when I received the pizza, it was cold. I called to bring up my grievances, not only was I argued with and hung up on, but she threatened to come to my house! We are currently waiting for her arrival… I will not support them again!!!

Been here couple times. Nonna has never proven itself to be any good. On top of that, never patronize your customer by giving them the older wilted box of salad thinking this will go unnoticed. Disappointed… again.

On the recommendation from a friend – a fellow New Yorker, I ordered 4 different pizzas to be delivered to a local business for my son’s 13th birthday. They were on time with the delivery, got the order right and the pizza was hot and very good. We ordered a plain cheese, pepperoni, a margarita and a white. The kids devoured the first three and my wife and I really enjoyed the white. Will definitely be ordering from them again. Seems like a nice family business which makes me even happier to spend my money there.

So disappointed. Do not spend your money here. Pizza was horrible. Pizza did not have any flavor. Tasted like it had been microwaved. Where is the sauce? Where’s the cheese? Even the cheese didn’t taste like cheese. How can cheese not have flavor? Have been a wanting to try this place for a while but every time I passed by it was always empty. Not a good sign. Checked out the reviews on Unilocal and thought hey why not let me finally check it out. Should’ve looked the other way and not stopped. Will not be back. So so so disappointed. If I could give zero stars I would however had to give at least give 1 star. How can you mess up pizza? Nonna’s Pizza you certainly found a way.

As a transplant from NJ, I’m often sniffing around for proper pizza. This place has got it: nice thin crust, good ratio of cheese and tomato sauce, just like the comfort pizza I get back in the homeland. This was my first visit, and I look forward to more.

Ketchup on wings???(See photo) Refused to remake and refused refund, pretty lousy customer service and employees. I even offered them $ 100 if they’d eat it themselves, they refused, so they can’t be complete idiots. This is the type of business that we don’t want or need in south pas, let’s be better than this and run these scumbags out of town! Cmon south pas have a little bit of pride in your town… Pizza is hit or miss, it can be pretty darn good, everything else is pretty yuck and their cannoli is straight out of a box from Costco(so the jackwagon that was singing its praises probably thinks McDonald’s is the best burger in town… it isn’t). Customer service is absolute crap, let’s have some pride I our product and stop being lazy worthless trash infesting this great nation! Do not come here! In fact do not let their employees in your businesses!

My love for Nonna’s has not waned, they are the best NY-style pizza in the Pasadena area. Love the meatballs and pasta too, and the garlic knots are SO yummy when used to sop up their truly wonderful tomato sauce. Thin crust, amazing flavorful sauce, good quality cheese and a sprinkling of basil/oregano on top makes up their cheese pie. Order it and eat it while it’s hot!

Excellent flavorful pizza and the incomparable taste of the real gelato, imported from Italy. The real deal. Made by Italian hands. The owner is so friendly that it makes me feel I’m home, but in Italy.

Pizza by the slice or made-to-order. Their slices are huge, by the way! A few staples like cheese or pepperoni, and some more«indulgent» pizzas such as those stuffed with broccoli and sausages… I can’t leave here without feeling incredibly, uncomfortably, full. Perhaps it is because I also can’t leave here without indulging in their garlic knots. Ughhh… Minus two stars because the few times I’ve been here, the two ladies who probably run the joint were fighting. Not straight up yelling and throwing shit, but definitely filling the air with tension and bad vibes. Eek!

All I can say is «delicioso!» My boyfriend and I recently discovered the magic of Nonna and, despite what anyone says about the cold pizza slices, it’s still pretty damn good re-heated. Not to mention, if you aren’t that hungry, you can get a slice and a small salad and call it a night without spending a fortune. I have yet to try the pasta dishes so I am probably going to be doing that this week. The place does need a bit of a face lift, but it’s all about the food so it’s easy to overlook the outdated décor. Other than that, I like sitting outside with my slice to people watch and then take a walk to the Fair Oaks Pharmacy for window shopping and ice cream. Not a bad date night for those on a budget.
