Dr G is the best chiropractor (+ part therapist) out there. After being diagnosed with disc issues 4 years ago I was in massive pain and was told my a renowned LA spine surgeon I would need surgery.
After 3 – 4 weeks of visits to Dr G my back was «back» to normal. The surgeon was impressed, he said that he usually felt chiropractors were not a long term solution but in my case he was all for it. I get flare ups once in a while but a trip or two to Dr G and I’m fine.
My sister opted for the surgery 6 years ago and is in constant pain so I’m very glad I was referred to Dr G.

All I can say to Dr. Gary is thanks times a million. Two weeks ago I was visiting California and having severe neck pain and headaches so I came to his office for one adjustment/​treatment. I was in a car accident 12 years ago. And suffered from neck pain ever since. After seeing Dr Gary one time I have no neck pain or back pain since that initial treatment from him. This visit has literally been life-​changing he also gave me amazing advice on nutrition and exercise which I have put into practice and have already noticed a difference. My only regret about this doctor is not living closer to him for a regular check ups. Another impressive thing that he did for me was look up the type of treatment he did on me for a doctor in my area that will be able to perform a similar adjustment and then personally emailed it to me. I cannot thank him enough for that information allowing me to get the care I need in the area where I live. From your number one fan in Cleveland, Ohio.

I have been going to Dr. Vitullo for over 15 years. He is the best chiropractor I’ve ever had (and that includes my first chiropractor who was my boyfriend). My appointments are always quick, and I always feel so much better afterwards. And I never get the feeling he’s doing anything unnecessary just to make a dollar. He’s thorough and honest, and it’s clear he’s genuinely interested in my well-​being. I’ve recommended him to many, MANY people. He’s not even close to my house! I’ve got to drive from the north San Fernando Valley, but he’s worth it! (He’s also got a great sense of humor and I never feel like he thinks that an adjustment can cure all of my illnesses. He understands chiropractic care is part of the whole health picture.) I wish all my health care providers were as good, personable, and knowledgeable as Dr. V.

Dr. Vitullo is the best chiropractor I have ever been too. I first started going to his office in 2000. He adjusted me through and after all four of my pregnancies. He gets to the bottom of issues quickly, effectively, and best of all — comfortably. I have been to a number of chiropractors over the years, and Dr. Vitullo is heads and shoulders above the rest. On top of everything else, he’s a kind and caring person.

This review is long overdue. I cannot say enough nice things about Dr Vitullo. I was referred to him about one year ago when I was in so much I couldn’t walk. Prior to my getting an MRI, Dr Vitullo diagnosed me correctly. He saved me from having back surgery and to this day I am extremely thankful. He is quick, precise and very reasonable cost wise. I stopped going because the pain is gone. I continue to reccommend him to anyone and everyone who is in need of an awesome chiropractor!

Every appointment is quick and easy. After seeing Dr. Vitullo I always feel better physically which improves my mood a good deal.
He is understanding of all sorts of medical conditions, even the rare ones. And he’s wicked smart.
He’s come in for emergencies for me (like ack! my neck is killing me! and that sort of thing…) and he always seems to have the time or finds the time to help me out when I need it.
This guy knows what’s up. I wish he could teach other chiro’s what’s up too. (Not that I would stop seeing him — but then other people who live far from his offices could feel better too!)

Dr. Vitullo is amazing!
My husband woke up on a Sunday feeling a lot of pain. I tried calling several offices with no success. (No one is open Sunday!) When I called his office I had no idea the call would be forwarded to his personal cell phone. He told me he was having breakfast, asked me a couple questions and then immediately agreed to see us. He was very empathetic and accomodating.
I cant believe he would make an exception and see us on his day off! Who does that?! Not only am I impressed with his customer service but with his humanity! He gave me specific directions to his office and said he’d be waiting. Incredible!
I cant express my gratitude enough! Not only for his professionalism and his genuine care, but also for his immediate willingness to help us!

Dr. Vitullo is an expert on the human body and the science of chiropractic care. His considerable knowledge allows him to accurately pinpoint issues of concern. I have learned, through experience, that the spine is not to be taken for granted and needs regular «tune ups» to stay balanced and in good working order, as this facilitates the health of the whole body.
Dr. Vitullo has a great sense of humor and lively spirit which immediately relaxes the patient. He asks questions and really listens to the answers.

I have Been going to Dr. Gary for about 8 years and recently at work (we are not getting younger) I really hurt my back, it went into spasm and i was not able to put on my socks or shoe’s, that was my clue to GO TO Dr. Gary His care put me back to work and now with regular visits I feel Great. I finely got my wife to go and she thinks that he is the best ! We are so happy to see Dr. Gary.

I’ve seen Dr. Gary since about 2007, when I’d had a recurring sciatica every winter for a few years. I haven’t suffered from it since I started seeing him. He also treated me for a neck injury from an old car accident … I had gotten to the point where I could not carry or lift much, and with much help from him, that is better as well.
I still go to him as often as I can for routine maintenance and to hear some good stories and hear him laugh…
He’s sharp, knows exactly what he’s doing and I trust him more than the majority of the doctors I’ve had in my life … I’d make him my Primary Care Physician if I could.

Our whole family loves Dr. Gary. From knowledge I have gained from him over the years, I now can tell when my back is sore, that there is something out of place that needs to be put back where it belongs. I have also recommended him to my friends when they have had back problems. And I’ll continue to do so!

I originally found Dr. Gary due to a coworkers recommendation when looking for a solution to some chronic carpal tunnel that I had tried everything to alleviate — other chiropractors, acupuncture, and doctor prescribed steroids. Within four visits (two weeks) of seeing him, my symptoms had COMPLETELY disappeared. I had full feeling back in my hand and all the pain was gone. I had just about given up. This blew my mind.
But, it gets better! As it happens, Dr. Gary not only actively treats CrossFit (and other) athletes, but has experience in the sport personally. As someone who’s CONSTANTLY beating the crap out of my body in my CrossFit workouts, I really appreciate his approach. He’ll frequently tell you, «people love me because I fix you up quick, I fix you up right, and I’ll be the first one to tell you to get back out there and keep performing!» Man, he is NOT KIDDING! At the slightest onset of anything out of the ordinary due to pushing my body to the limits, I go see him. Small and big pains, he takes care of it. A few times I’ve walked into his office where I could barely walk. Not only does he get me back to fighting strength quicker than I ever imagined possible (days, not weeks, never months), but he does a GREAT job of explaining what I did wrong, and even better — how I can avoid the same mistakes in the future. This guy really knows his stuff.
His in-​depth knowledge of athletes and the way their body performs always astounds me. I’ve taken some really odd pains to him, and he can usually tell me what I did before I have time to explain. It’s very impressive.
I cannot recommend this guy enough. And I say that having been to many different chiropractors throughout my life. Go see Dr. Gary, it’ll be one of the best things you’ve ever done.

I have been seeing Dr. Vitullo for some time now — Best Chiropractor around! His knowledge of his profession is great and his credentials are unmatched; he will make you feel as close if not better than you were before you arrived and his explanation of your condition will give you much insight into understanding your needs and how you can be proactive toward taking care of yourself.
He has the best and friendliest receptionist I’ve dealt with, Evelyn, who handles you well and makes you feel comfortable; plus she’s bilingual and is always listening to the coolest music unlike most boring doctors offices.

Dr Vitullo, is very friendly and was able to evaluate my problem and provide adjustment. I felt 100 times better after my 1^st visit. If you go to his website you can print up a ½ of the 1^st visit sheet. No need to make appointment the Dr operates on walking in and I ve never had to wait for more than 10 minutes.

Dr. Gary is a gifted diagnostician and chiropractor. He read my back like a tarot card and noticed things I had forgotten about and didn’t realize were related to my injury. After seeing a medical doctor, physical therapist and an acupuncturist (all good in their own way) Dr. Gary was the first person to say, let’s step back and look at the big picture, your whole spine, your whole history and everything that is contributing to how you feel.
He was able to help me understand how my body works, what is causing me pain and what I can do to take care of myself. We came up with a plan and the early improvements were mind-​boggling wonderful. Now we are working on a sustainable program to keep me healthy and as pain free as possible.
A friend referred him to me and I have recommended him to many of my friends. He has a great drop in policy that make seeing him super easy.
He will talk your ear off about Cross Fit if you let him, but it is only because he is passionate about the things he loves. Luckily, he loves being a chiropractor!

Well, it’s been a while since I posted that first review. Turns out that I was right.
What your average chiropractor does isn’t even close to what Dr. Gary does. My usual experience with other chiros was going into their office, getting hooked up for an e-​stim machine, or getting ultrasound therapy by an untrained assistant for about 45 minutes. Then, having the doctor come into the room for about 5 minutes, perform a very quick adjustment with no examination or without taking any time to really figure out what was wrong with me on that day. Even when I went to a new chiropractor and started to think that they were much better than the previous one, it would only last 2 or 3 visits before it was back to the same old uninterested and rushed routine. It’s this type of bullshit practice that gives this field such a bad name.
I found out that Dr. Gary is one of the few practioners of the Gonstead method in the country, which is one of the few really in depth and effective methods of chiropractic. Look it up! It’s amazing stuff.
So after about 3 sessions with Dr. Gary, my left knee which had been crushed by a long boarding accident was significantly more mobile, and was totally pain free! My left shoulder had also been clicking and slightly painful, and he took care of that in only 2 visits. Seriously, this guy is the real deal.
If you have had disappointing, or even awful experiences with chiropractors in the past, give Dr. Gary a shot. He’ll change your mind completely.

Dr. Gary is awesome!
I hurt my back pretty badly a while back doing heavy deadlifts. He not only helped get me back to lifting as quickly as possible, he also really explained what was happening with my hips and spine. The explanation helped me to really «get» what he was doing and why. My respect for him increased tenfold then and there, and I began to understand why chiropractic is a must for athletes.
It’s been over six months, and I recently tweaked my back again lifting heavy (again). Dr. G is fixing me right up.
I am a CrossFitter. Other doctors might try to tell me to stop what I am doing. Dr. G is a CrossFitter too, so he understands its importance to those of us who do it. He focuses on rehabilitation, not dissuasion and deterrence.
He is my kinda doc!
Now it’s been six months since the last visit, and I see Dr. G fairly regularly. As a result, I have not had a single «tweak».

Gonstead Chiropractor: treats underlying problem so there is not a problem anymore. Bones and muscles have a memory and 1ce they are used to being in there correct position again they will stay there. Wala no more pain.

I trust my bones & the bones of my family to no other. I truly believe that he has saved our lives and has improved the quality of living for all of us. It’s amazing what he can do that standardized American medicine (meaning hospitals, prescription meds, and surgery) could not.

Maybe I’m just a ditz but the hopping from office to office thing gets confusing. I know small /​stupid complaint but when your in pain the brain doesn’t work so well.

SUMMARY
Yes the treatments are uncomfortable. It’s just not natural to feel your bones moving. Normally that’s bad, not good. But, get over it. And, stick with the treatments. Gary will fix you. He will make you feel so much better, like a normal person again.
