Mr. Jagan II is the eldest grandchild of former Presidents of Guyana, Cheddi and Janet Jagan.
Mr. Jagan II received his B.A. at Brooklyn College in 2006 and his J.D. at Florida International University College of Law in 2010, graduating in the Top 10 of his class.
From 2010 until 2013, Mr. Jagan II served as a Legal Consultant at the Office of the President of Guyana’s Governance Unit.
Between 2013 and 2014, Mr. Jagan II was employed at American Express in NYC as a Business Analyst Contractor.
Mr. Jagan II was admitted to practice as an Attorney & Counselor-at-Law in all of the Courts of the State of New York in April, 2015.
In July 2015, Mr. Jagan II launched his solo general practice law office, the Law Office of Cheddi B. Jagan II.
