Although the bill wasn’t something I’d smile about, I adore this practice. My doctor’s name was Penny Cameron, and she was incredible. She’s the first psychiatrist that didn’t make me feel like some sort of weirdo for having an mental issue. I’ve been managing my depression for years now, and needed a local doctor to fill my Zoloft prescription so I could avoid driving an hour. I’ve been to doctors that wanted me to so badly talk about my feelings, stressing how much better I will feel while doing a terrible job of convincing me that they truly cared. This doctor respected the way I managed my depression through medicine when I told her that counseling doesn’t work for me. I ended up opening up to her as a friend anyhow, because she treated me like an equal rather then some mentally-​unstable person who can’t make their own decisions in regards to treatment.
I’m a huge advocate of ending the «hush hush» and embarrassing stigma of mental illness in the United States, and Penny truly was representation of what I consider an ideal psychiatrist. Thank you.

Dr. Choudhary is the best! I had a difficult time finding a provider that is knowledgable in Autism Spectrum disorders. She has been great with my daughter. She spends time to review her health, emotional dislocation, and any anxiety she may be facing. She is very patient and does not rush her. Also she was great about filling out paperwork for her disability.

Absolutely avoid this place at all costs.
the «office manager» will outright lie to you about scheduling issues, they routinely double book to avoid having certain people pay cancellation fees and leave you waiting forever. I was so fed up with this place that I showed up to my last appointment, paid, and then left once fully checked in.
I then got another bill ANYWAYS, saying since i cancelled late (which i did not) that I owed them 100 $ for the missed appointment, which i was present for.
its a complete scam, the office manager is a shaved head angry white guy who may have racist tendancies, and the whole practice is beyond sub par.

I would not recommend this place. I had ADHD testing for my 8 year old son over 3 months ago. I was told I would have the results in 6 – 8 weeks. It has been over 3 months and still nothing. After calling and leaving message 3 times for the counselor, I finally received a call from the secretary telling me she was sorry for the delay, but they had been really busy. She finally set up an appointment for Sept 23. This appt. was made 2 weeks ago. I then received a call today (the day before the appt.) telling me they need to reschedule because the counselor is sick, however they cannot tell me when they can reschedule me because they are booked. In my opinion, this is completely UNACCEPTABLE! I am dependent on these results to help my child. We are having issues at home and school and as more time goes on without knowing what is going on with him, the worse things are getting, especially since I don’t know what I need to do to help him. I have a call into the manager. We will see if he gets back to me.

I’m very frustrated with this practice. I’ve been looking for a good psychiatrist for awhile. I have had 2 appointments with this practice and they have not gotten my appointment time correct either time. I received a confirmation voice mail, text, and email for the correct time but then they said it was for a different time. On the first time it was my first time to the clinic and they wanted to charge me a $ 75 missed appointment fee.
I really liked the counselor Carla Batenga and was looking forward to meeting the psychiatrist. After this bad experience I will probably not be back unless I receive an apology and have a good connection with the psychiatrist. This office is not competent in making appointments.

There is to this day a stigma surrounding mental health issues. But we as a society need to talk about them — as there is a lot that can be done to help folks out when they need it. Before last year — I never understood why anyone would need to go talk to someone such as a psychiatrist, psychologist, or counselor. But I learned the hard way last summer. My hope is that in writing this review — it will help out others that know that they need to pursue assistance, get help, talk about these issues and get them into the light of day — and get back on the right track!
When my Mother passed away last summer — I was pretty stressed out over her passing. I did not do a very good job of dealing with the stress, grief, and anxiety of losing her. My primary care physician wanted me to go talk with a professional to see what they thought I was going through.
I went to see two Psychiatrists (for first and second opinions).
Dr. Choudhary was the first Dr. I went to visit. She spent 1.5 hours with me and asked me a lot of questions about things.
In the end, it was very beneficial. She advised that what I was going through was not abnormal — that such a loss can cause a lot of stress and anxiety. She recommended I continue to see a licensed professional counselor to talk through things. And as a result I’ve learned to deal with and manage my stress.
I really like Dr. Choudhary! I’ve gone back a few times for appointments to check in with her and discuss how things are going.
