if anyone wants to know what happened to FFSONS, here is the story:

This business might of been good with the father but the kids or new employees are bad. When the standards change, customers run and in some case sue. They switch and bait cars, hide damages that are not visual, and sell frame damage cars with no disclosure. Ask any used car dealer that buys From their wholesale auction. They sell bad cars. Enough said

I have purchased every car I’ve owned as an adult from the Faulknors. Each car has been better than the last and when it has come time to get a new (er) car, FF&S buys back my old car and hooks me up again. They are honest and have integrity you might not always find with used car dealers. The SSF location closed due to no fault of theirs but rather a bogus ADA claim (I’m disabled. I heard the story. It’s bogus.) It’s a crying shame that this business was forced to close down because of some shady lawyering, after decades of good business practice and serving the community.

So I just went to
and found out they arent having any more auctions, does anyone know whats happening? They closed all of a sudden with cars in the lot and titles yet to be received!
Please somebody let me know whats happening and where the banks and credit unions are sending their repossessed cars now, thanks!

Just Purchased my Mazda 6 from them and I can say I am very happy with the whole transaction.
The place was nice and the people were great.
I inspected the car, got all the details I could get from the friendly staff and was able to place a bid way below dealer price on KBB. It was an excellent experience that I can repeat or refer friends.
Please note that this is an auction house, NOT your regular auto dealer. Do your research, inspect the car and follow their house rules — like not putting the car in gear…

Just thinking of the DMV stresses me out. When the title came in for our car, all I could think of was long hours at the DMV and getting nowhere.
Usually, FFSons does the DMV registration for you when you get your car here. However, the person at our bank said we needed to go to the DMV ourselves to complete the loan process (?). After waiting on hold with the DMV for more than half an hour to ask about what I needed to bring and if my mother needs to physically be there since it is under her name, I decided to call FFSons to see if they could help us. They could! Thank goodness.
Jen is amazing. She is just so nice, helpful, and accommodating. The same goes for the gentlemen that usually sits at the larger desk in the back. Thanks to them, I’ve been saved from a horrible DMV experience. These are the nicest people I’ve dealt with in months… and I’ve had to deal with many people from way too many companies in the last few months, it’s ridiculous.

What’s wrong with people these days? I have been coming to this place for years now and have had great purchases and everyone is very helpful.
My first car was for my daughter when she turned 16 and she drove it for almost 10 years until we ended up donating it. The $ 50 membership is VERY reasonable. You’re buying cars for thousands of dollars and people seem to think this is an absorbent amount to pay? I bought 3 cars on that membership and actually resold one of them to make about $ 2000, which ended up paying for the first car I bought.
I’m not sure about these other people but before I dished out a few grand for my car that I planned to drive for a few years I actually sit in it to see how it is. A lot of these cars have damage, ranging from minor to major, but there are also near-​new models (2008 and even an occasional 2009 that you can get a good deal on). Ultimately though, it is pretty important that you really look at the cars before you make an offer.
The second you walk in you sign about 6 papers that states that everything is As-​Is. The workers told me all these cars are repossessions. They just get the cars in, clean them up, and put them on the floor for me to buy. If they do know about problems with the cars they will write them on the windshields. Anything visible such as a wrong wheels or windows that do not roll up is up to me to check out. They did tell me there are no mechanics on site so I have to check the cars out thoroughly, but I am allowed to bring my mechanic with me to look at the cars.
Overall I have had great experiences here and continue to come back. I thank Forrest Faulknors auction for being around because otherwise the banks are probably selling the cars for nothing to only dealers at some privately held auction. We end up buying the same exact used cars from the used car lots for thousands more than the dealers paid. This gives us private citizens the chance to buy like the auto dealers do. I highly recommend buying a car here at auction just make sure you take your time, read everything, and look your car over thoroughly. Don’t assume anything; otherwise you know what happens…

This places sealed bid auction sucks. I’ve bought 2 cars for myself and 1 with a friend from here. All had problems. And they even called me about a Nissan Altima that I won, just to call back an hour later saying that the found another higher bid.
The first car was a Nissan which was less than a year old. After picking up the car I realized the vehicle had a burned electrical dimmer which killed all the lights in the car. The vehicle was stripped of it’s spare tire and jack. And lastly one of the wheels that they put on the car was the completely wrong wheel causing me to spend additional money buy a set of tires and replacing the studs that broke off.
My friends car was a Saturn and that smelled so bad when I had to drive it back, but the smell wasn’t the only problem. Driving the vehicle back once more I noticed there was a problem, the wheel bearings was messed up. Had to spend a pretty penny getting those old one pressed out and new ones pressed in.
My second vehicle was an Honda Accord. They detailed the car and maybe spent a whole 5 minutes doing so. The car had stains and dirt all over the place. And when I picked up my car, the car had a dent in the vehicle it didn’t have when I placed my bid.
Before this was a cheap place to get a vehicle, but now it really is not worth the time and certainly not a $ 50 membership fee. The vehicles cannot be driven and they say all the mechanical problems is written on the windshield of the vehicles, but I disagree. A wheel that doesn’t fit and a broken bearing is very easy to notice when the car is moving and yet those were not mentioned.
