Excellent café and very reasonable prices. And so many good selection to choose from.

I think I like this cafeteria the best out of all the ones on campus, NOT only because it has boba, but it also had decent Asian foods among other options. The 4 stars is compared to the other cafeterias on campus but compared to other cafeteria’s outside of Genentech, it’d be a 3 star. I’m sure I give plenty of excuses to be able to deliver or do something in the offices around this cafeteria so that I can stop by to get a cup of boba. It isn’t the best that I’ve had but it helps my craving for boba until I get the chance to get some during the weekend. I usually avoid the thai tea just because it has a horrible aftertaste to me(probably made from powder or something from a bag… that isn’t fresh tea leaves). Yes I’m very picky with my teas. I’m glad that they have a fruit drink option for the boba too just because I always find it weird just eating boba alone(…but I still do it). As for the food, just as the other reviews say, it’s just like Panda Express. They have pretty decent entrees to choose from(even had duck once but it was a bit dry for me). I can always count on the sushi being pretty fresh here and it’s made when ordered. Prices are subsidized so no complaints on the prices. I can always find seating here too and it’s generally pretty clean. Final Thoughts: I think this is my favorite cafeteria but a little out of the way for me :[

Best caf on campus. Hardest working crew This week was unusually good. Shrimp wrap Friday. Some pork loin thing with great sides on wed/Thur? And then some beef tri-tip looking thing Monday with great sides. They have to work out the operations of the breakfast grill as it takes way too long. Fix the ice machine! Also, 1 of the few places where I eat Chinese food and not have to think twice about the decision. other than that, this is the best partially-subsidized corporate caf I’ve ever eaten at. 6 years, same caf, only tired of it just a skosh… amazing! Keep up the great work…

This building cafeteria definitely has the best Asian food compared to all other Genentech south SF cafeterias. They have Asian burritos, a panda express like multi entrée line, and phở. Their non Asian lunch items include your typical salad bar, sandwich bar, grill, and a «healthy option station». The seating is the best out of all other café buildings as they have booths. It’s probably because upper management work in buildings around this cafeteria. If you can’t find indoor seating here, you can go to the outside courtyard or upstairs breakroom.

This cafeteria is Genentech’s version of Panda Express! Decent orange chicken and other great dishes to choose from… a great place to satisfy a craving for Chinese. This also has a small selection of dim sum which can sometimes be cold. B24/25 also has the typical deli, salad bar, grill, and sushi. Desserts are not the best, but I find that to be a campus wide problem. If you come later, towards the end of lunch, they will pile on the servings for Chinese. Food that is not cooked fresh tends to dry out. Great outdoor patio seating(avoid the tables directly under the trees as insects tend to drop down and bite you). The cafeteria is split between Asian area and the rest with seating in between. Great color choices for the decór. Their tall cups also fit perfectly in the tray return… unlike the ones in Bldg 33. My second favorite place to go for lunch on campus!
