H.I.T. Wall Studios is a rehearsal studio complex in South San Francisco specializing in state of the art rooms for the working musician.

History

Established in 2001.

Two brothers, Mat and Will, decided, after being booted along w/​2000 other musicians from Downtown Rehearsal including Chris Issac, Faith No More and the Melvins, on 3^rd St. in the City, that they would start their own music rehearsal complex. Being born in the City proper, playing music for most of the lives, and having more than a few connections and friends in the business, it made a lot of sense to try and help out the music community in their small way.

Mat is a recording engineer by trade so he continues to do buniness at H.I.T. Wall Studios (Sr.) and record bands. Both the rehearsal buniness and the recording studio seem help each other out.

They’ve been almost completely booked now for going on 10 years.

In fact, now they are expanding to a new complex down the street at 137 So. Linden Ave., So San Francisco, CA., 94 080.

Their motto when someone moves in:

«All we ask is that you write good music and get out there and play.»
