She helps us to minimize our tax liability and ensures we break even or get a refund each year. She always answers the phone or calls us back promptly whenever we have any questions. I hired with Susan Haase for two years when I was working as an Independent Consultant. The first year was fine and she set me up to make quarterly payments based on estimated income for the following year. During the next year, I called her four times to make sure that the payments were large enough to cover my balance so that I would not have an enormous tax bill at the end of the year. Four times! She said that I would owe some money, but it wouldn’t be that much, probably $ 8 — 10K. Well, when tax time came, not only did I owe almost $ 18,000 (!?!) because my quarterly SEP payments were WAY too low, but she also had the audacity to charge me twice (2x!) as much for doing my taxes than she did the previous year. She explained that it was more work, however, I only had one source of income versus the several sources that needed to be reviewed the previous year. She charged me more because I made more money. I feel that she took advantage of me. I will never go here again. Susan is a nice person but she did a lousy job and put me in a terrible tax situation.

If you own a business and don’t have or in the market for a new accountant, this is her. I have been running a company for a long time now and have had my fair share of accountants. Although my past accountants were good, I never felt like my exact questions were completely answered or I was getting the best advice.
When I found Susan she changed all that. I feel comfortable talking with her and asking her questions, questions she has answers to. With a wealth of experience, she was able to save me more money than ever. Most of all, you really feel taken care of when they’re on the job.
