Taylor’s Automatic Refresher

My husband and I love going to Napa! The last time we went, we had to stop at a roadside diner called Taylor’s Refresher! Boy are we glad we did. We had seen it highlighted of Guy Fieri’s show «Diners, drive ins and dives». You would think people would not want to go go because when you pull into the small parking area, you immediately see the loooooong line! But that does not deter people, and for good reason. I had the blue cheese burger with a milkshake and fries… OMG, the best hamburger ever, and the milkshake was the creamiest one I have ever tasted! My husband had the Ahi tuna burger, and I though he was going to faint after taking one bite! We loved it so much that we went there for lunch AND dinner on the same day! And yes, we stood in the looooong line both times! So worth it!

In 2 weeks of touring California — this was mine and my boyfriends favourite meal!
A completely no frills, no waiter/​waitress service establishment whereby you order yourself and when your food is ready your table number gets shouted out and you go to the counter to collect your food.
A slightly upmarket fast food joint.
Food is fantastic! I had fish and chips which came wrapped in newspaper in a basket and tasted fab and my boyfriend had a chicken wrap. sounds basic but it was fab.
They specialise in home made milkshakes which taste fantastic and are really good value.
This is off one of the piers on fishermans wharf.
