What can I say about Local Roots, except to get yourself in there, I have been going to the same hair stylish for years, where Anne go’s I go. Anne has moved to the up in coming Local Roots Hair Salon, the place is Clean, Comfortable, Friendly and the prices are reasonable, they
also have promotions going on Monday — Friday, so don’t hesitate to come in they are open 7 days a week, but my day is Saturday’s, I tell you I love going I always get a parking spot and not at a meter, they are so great there I come from Manhattan, so ask yourself how many hair salon’s do I pass just to get to Local Roots, its all worth it.

This salon has a wonderful, friendly stylist Jocelyn. She will hook you up and you will leave feeling beautiful and refreshed. I highly recommend this salon. Its in a very nice neighborhood plenty of nearby eateries and transportation. What are you waiting for? Call or walk in no problem.

After, about a few weeks without getting my hair professionally done, I’m back! Got my hair colored, and a blow out. Back to school special they are offering a FREE deep conditioning, and my hair was really grateful from all the summer sun, & chlorine. Came out looking like a million bucks. They also offer bottled water while you wait and now you can use a credit card to pay for your services. Woohoo, this place keeps getting better and better.

the service here is wonderful. Convenient location and easy to find by bus. Excellent atmosphere. The ladies are really knowledgeable about haircare and are very honest about what’s best for your hair. The prices are very affordable. I love local roots

I am back again for my weekly visit to this fabulous place. they pampered me and my hair couldn’t be healthier. I am. very pleased with the services.

Although I was born and raised in Brooklyn, I always struggled to find a salon that not only did a great job with my hair but really made we want to go back a second time. When I recently had to travel to Brooklyn unexpectedl, I decided to give Local Roots a try. I am so glad I did!!! It was such an inviting and warm environment that I felt comfortable within minutes. The stylist did a great job; asking me questions about what I wanted along the way and are super friendly. As for products, the stylists weren’t pushy at all like some other salons where they seem to transform into salesmen. I decided to pick one up to help me manage my curls and it really works. Let me not forget the prices… amazing!!! Other salons in the area charge close to $ 100 for just a cut and dry. ridiculous! Local Roots does great hair and doesn’t take advantage of their clients. I’m ecstatic that I finally found a place that makes me want to go back and now I have a spot for when I’m in town.

Love this place! They pay attention to the details here! Came in without an appointment so I was worried they wouldn’t take care of me because it was almost closing time. No te apurre (don’t you worry)! They took care of me quickly and efficiently. I will definitely be back… And my fave part — they open super early one day a week and stay late on another day. Will come back again and again!
